Personally , I see it as a must win fixture, nothing less than 3 points will do, otherwise we will be cast adrift, needing 2 wins just to bridge the gap.........given that we've managed 2 wins in 12, that's not something we would want.....1-2 Lynn.

In the interests of fairness and consistency, important for me to say that Boreham Wood highlights have just been posted up by the media team and watched by me....so that's only 24 hours after match ended and is a really good effort.....so thanks to those involved in doing that so promptly.

Listening to the Boreham  Wood Manager's interview postmatch he loves the way Lynnplay and wishes he could play that way and get the results, but he can't..or words to that effect.

People were saying that about Lynn in the NLN,but Lynn proved them all wrong.

However at step 2 the midfield and forwards were able to make inroads and create and take chances. We are not currently creating enough chances and hardly taking any.

Playing IC's desired style (which has to be the way to go if he's in charge) we are always likely to concede a goal per game, so we have to find a way to be more creative. The defensive side of things is reasonable at the moment.

Personally I feel we should be getting more out of Sundire, Gyasi and Linton.
Who do Lynn have as attacking coach at the moment I wonder ?
Sundire has a good engine , Gyasi unpredictable and exciting skill, lacking an end product.
Linton has looked classy in patches, but we need more of it.
I feel we should.put emphasis on getting work into these guys, to try and improve their end product.

Omotayo and Morias are the two contracted forwards and need to work on their partnership....Morias has been absent for a large part of the season and needs to ensure he stays disciplined........ hopefully both will start to feel more of a pattern developing over the next few games which will lead to a few goals and a rise in confidence.

Unless Lynn have an incredible cup run, it seems most of the improvement needs to come from what we currently have......I am not sure we are getting the best from said players currently.

I am just amazed.........is it ever going to dawn

Keep doing the same things every game and in this league you get the same result.

Teams around Lynn are improving as the season develops.....have Lynn honestly improved since Southend ?

A familiar one nil defeat.......sloppy goal given away early doors, a common theme and toothless upfront....common theme.

There had to be a night when the other sides got wins...now it has happened and we are starting to look in real trouble. League goals from forwards totals 3.
Linton 1 Morias 2 Omotayo 0. Doesn't matter what league you are in, if you can't score in 90 minutes you will get relegated....... it's actually becoming rather painful being a Lynn fan.

The Chairman has a number of serious decisions to make.......next up Weymouth !

So new signing plus Taylor and Fleming, means 5 on the bench, 1 defender, 2 midfielders, one attacker

Loved the bit
"In a look at the visitors, defender Will Evans will be intelligible for the visit to King’s Lynn after facing red in the loss to Chesterfield."
 :nilpoints:
and from the weekend
"King's Lynn Town FC
@officialKLtown
Good Luck to our Laddies who are in @VitalityWFACup  action today"

...and to think I had given up looking at the previews, on the basis that they weren't worth looking at.....what gems I have missed

It was no one's fault that promotion happened so quickly from the NLN....and no one could have predicted Covid.

The fact is that the jump from step 3 is gigantic.

Somehow the club has to try and consolidate at this level, to not lose out on benefitting from 2 wonderful promotions

If they can just find a striker of note at this level, then they might just pull it off and haul themselves up to half way in the league and have a couple of good cup runs and thereby up the revenue significantly.

Going full time has resulted in a greatly improved defence and an improved midfield.

Trying to find strikers seems incredibly tough, given that top full time ones are too expensive and as gs mentioned, many part time ones don't want to go full time.

Could we/IC entertain a couple of prt time strikers within the set up, if they filled a super sub type role ?

Jeffers from St Albans has 11 goals in 9 games, Glenn Taylor at Gateshead has 9 from 9.

Personally think we should keep well clear of any other loanees Mall.
We need someone upfront who is going to be with us for the next 24 months on a consistent basis.
We don't seem to be in the market for someone of the calibre required from clubs around or above us, do we....so that's why we may have to look below.......is there anyone in NL north/south that we know of or played against in recent times who may fit the bill ?
