General Discussion / Re: ST NEOTS.

St Neots did not offer a lot which is perfect for us with two games together and in the heat. Gashy did take some big hits first half though.

The goals . . .

I see Michael Clunan was directly involved in the build up to both goals. It amazes and frustrates me how some people do not rate him.

Be interesting to see how far we have come since that opening day misery.   So many emotions that day.  Going 1 down, battling back to lead 2-1, and looking comfortable.  To then getting pulled back to 2-2 with then only looking like one winner ( and it wasn't us).  2-3 became 2-4.
I was at that match but cannot remember any of that happening. Must have blocked that particular trauma from my memory.

Again, several times crosses from the wings overshot the target but no one backing up on the far side.
The large majority landed in the danger area and his turn of pace to leave his man was awesome.

Does anyone else feel that the team are confused about the style of play. We have three voices from the bench and Simon Clark does seem to communicate a lot with the players on the pitch. I feel that under the previous regime the players were given clear instructions and then the responsibility to take ownership of seeing them through.

I think the issue here is that you would be fairly likely to argue with your own reflection Gris.

Just looked on Kettering website and they are not using the factory car park that was open last season. Any advice?

Well done Mr Clunan and justly deserved. If he was not injured for them last few games our season would most probably have ended differently. Naysayers need to check yourselfs.

Its clear that some people on this site do not read posts. It has already been said that this is not a KLTFC event. So think of something else to moan about.....

I am fully aware that it is not a KLTFC event, but when it has been held in the past the club actively pushed the event,as the more people that attend the more money the club makes! Or is that not the idea behind renting out the premises? :dontknow:
Any excuse you pest.

Well said LUFC1992KLTFC. Some people need to get on board or get off the bus, and also think before they indiscriminately label supporters as arse lickers.

Nice to see it is happening, and great that the groundsman is posting it and keeping people up to date.
Mr Grissles, you have only posted 60% of this thread, raise your game. Although to your credit you are trying to stir the pot as usual, keep up the good work.

Just been talking with my butcher and he has heard that the chairman is going to interview himself for the managers job. This is the same butcher who told me Grant Holt was coming a month before......just saying.

It will stick in a some peoples craw but if we have  enjoyed this season then we must simply extend some gratitude to the owner. The reason we have witnessed the football and goals is down to the players the manager has brought in, and the reason this manager is here was down to the owner as he makes the decisions. Next season is the future, our immediate future is today's final COYL.
