I'm intrigued by the line-up on the BBC football website: 4-4-2: MAIR BROWN CALLAN-MCFADDEN JARVIS RICHARDS SMITH GASH SOUTHWELL BARROWS POWER MCAULEY Perhaps they know more than we do?

How surreal was that! Watching KLTFC playing at this level with TV coverage whilst sat in my armchair in The Algarve. Would I have predicted all that 5 years ago? A fantastic effort by all concerned and a commendable performance against a decent team. I have followed the Linnets since 1967 but it is a long time since I saw them live. Let's hope we get more coverage as the season progresses and hopefully with some fans cheering us on. Performance-wise I thought that Carey looked extremely comfortable at this level and I think he will play a big part this season. Yesterday was proof that we can play at this level. COYL!

On behalf of the football club may I thank each and everyone of you for your kind offers, words , donations and support shown towards the football club at this very , very difficult time. As has been mentioned we have today set up a link on the football club site where you can donate if you wish by clicking the match ticket link , then ' Linnets donations ' and the options will then pop up. Thanks again. I will be posting a total to date figure here around 7 pm each evening starting on Thursday.
I will be popping in here from time to time to keep you updated. At the moment the season is only suspended until April 3 rd. We expect to have further information ourselves as to the next steps to be taken around that date. I will also attempt to answer any questions you may have here or you can e - mail me at mark@kltown.co.uk or call me on 01553 760060 .
Myself and the chairman plan to do a podcast at some stage shortly which will be available to view in the not to distant future.
I continue to be busy on various club business in these very difficult times we are all now facing.
Stay safe, keep well and look after each other.
Regards,
Mark.
I now reside in Portugal so being unable to attend any of the matches I rely on these posts and the Saturday/Tuesday match reports to keep me in touch. I moved to King's Lynn in 1975 and would be devastated to experience the demise of the club. Hence tonight I have made a £100 donation to the club. However, I would like to make the point that this process is not that easy for the non-savvy person using the website. In view of this, would it not be possible to add an easier link to take the potential donator directly to the page instead of having to trawl through the website in order to find it and in frustration deciding not to donate. Long live The Linnets .

That’s it Les rub it in why don’t you We’ve had snow today.
Will be back over to The Algarve in Sept ( fingers crossed), hopefully will meet up this time for glass or 3 of Vino
It is vinho in Portugal. Could be more than 3 if we're celebrating promotion? Do you visit the same place in The Algarve when you come here? Just reading another post on the forum - it sounds as if the Gloucester pitch is being inspected and there is a doubt about the match going ahead tonight.

We have a great squad Les, but after witnessing the Kiddie home defeat the words chickens n hatch spring to mind.
Cold, wet miserable night playing in front of a few hundred people. We need to be well fired up for this one.
I'm sure IC will get them motivated and the fact that York lost on Saturday and that Gloucester played only 48 hours ago should be motivation enough. As you imply though travelling, the inclement weather and the heavy pitch all come into the equation. However, I think we will be good enough for a 2-1 Lynn victory and I'll be listening to it from sunny Portugal

Alty 2 Telford 0 presently almost half time. A win for Alty could see them on 47 points and up to 6th

Final Table predictions from footballwebpages
https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/national-league-north/league-table/predicted
Scroll down to bottom of the page for the predicted match scores
Good to see Chester lose again tonight. With reference to the 'Final Table Predictions' - ignoring the actual scorelines - they predicted wins for all 4 home sides. However, Kettering lost at home to Altrincham so it all falls down at the first hurdle

That should help you out.
Plus a contribution towards the Pitch covers would be welcome if you’re feeling flushed with cash 😂
Brad, apologies for pestering you with this but I used the link you suggested but the downloaded form requires an amount to be inserted. Any idea how I would complete the form and make the payment?
Assume you just fill the PDF application out, and send to linnetfriends@gmail.com
