Here's an early suggestion for a fund raising topic for the FOTL.........a supporters minibus.

Given the club have managed to obtain houses for the players, maybe the club would be happy to throw a few grand in to.improve the away support and give something back to the die hard fans.

Wonder if there are any willing drivers amongst that core group ?
Trouble is mark n Matt do a superb job in organising travel but even for the Yeovil game wasnít full , the club have put on buses in the past and then had to cancel as no takers !!  Knowing a lot of moaners on here theyíll want travel for free  :bus:

Nice moan you managed to get in there Blueboy.Canít you see you have identified the problem but not offered any solution to it as youíre too busy moaning about others again. All aboard the silly bus.  :bus:

Full page in EDP today.  :countingmoney:
So many holes in that you could drive a bus through it. :bus: :bus: I'm surprised the debt only stands at that. Does that mean that he has gifted his personal loans to the Club or taken some of it back with the loan money?

Nicki when you say who donít like S C on what do you base it on ,have you met the man who has taken our team to where we are today, I for one never thought our team would be playing the likes of Chesterfield and Notts County if you would have said to me 10 seasons ago we would be playing in the conference I would have said that will never happen but here we are and a professional team and the man you donít like has got us there
Malcolm.Just get fundraising! It looks as if the man that has got us here has done so by allowing us to get in debt by around a million pounds.I suppose you think that's ok as we are now where we are and a professional team.

I'm one that's not intending to go to many if any games this season.I could go out for a whole evening for the cost of entry food and drink at Kings Lynn.I'm not too bothered about the Covid risk and my finances are no different than they were last year but I don't think its value for money and to tell the truth I dislike the person that sets the prices.

I am afraid this is another con to get people to buy a season ticket .Season ticket holders will have their seats marked.
In crayon?

It is a simple thing to do if the person that should be doing it can be bothered.5 weeks now since it it was first raised. That's not getting it sorted its waiting for it to happen. That's unless the Club has a reason for the fotl not to succeed as they think they have got a better alternative in the pipeline.I don't think they will attract many new members as people will just think its the same as it was when the previous committee members were involved and we all know what happened there.Next to nothing.

Why not treat your employees or invite some important clients and sponsor our first game of the season against
@SUFCRootsHall
 - it will be an electric atmosphere with the return of fans and Southendís first ever game in non-league.  A historic moment and one to relax and enjoy

There we go.  Point in case

Surely the Club can be more professional than this.  A random Tweet to try and grab a match day sponsor for the opening day of the season against a relegated League Club.

Come on SC you are better than this.
When was that?

If its called friends of the Linnets supporters club which is fotlsc.Adding SC to the name seems about right from what I understand they are trying to do at the moment.A fresh lick of paint on the surface and off you go.No different to throwing a few seeds and sand on the pitch and claiming its all been dug up and reseeded by professionals.

I think your heart is in the right place and that you want to help the club Mr Hill but are you really  sure about taking this on.It will really be a lot of work and hassle and I know you are not a young man.In the nicest possible way I have to ask if you have thought it all the way through and if you are sure you are capable of doing the job that needs doing.Reading all the posts again you have said two things. One was that it needs to be more transparent but you have been asked a question half a dozen times but won't answer it.That's not a very good start when you have suggested more transprancey is needed. The other thing you said was there needs to be lots of changes but when pressed with what needs to change all you could come up with as an idea is to change the friends name. And it should be Friends of the Linnets not Fiends of the Linnets or is that a Freudian slip?

I didn't know this could be done.Maybe the Club didn't know about it or the people who would have to be involved think the 2 to 3 thousand it would earn for the club is too little for the effort and it's easier to keep holding their hand out and asking the supporters to give give give.

Hi Nikki. I have broad shoulders. When i post it is the truth rather than the bull**** that supporters are fed by the club. People though have short memories. If someone was to write a book about all that will be coming and happening to Lynn as in programme notes and podcasts in the past 4-5 years the book would have more pages than the Bible.
Whoever it is for training they must make sure they get their money!
Gordon I never buy a program due to it being so expensive and I tried listening to a podcast once but found it boring so never bothered again. Can you please give a couple of examples of the bull.... the supporters are fed.
