General Discussion / University research on the role of football in response to military conflict« on: April 05, 2024, 05:18:13 AM »
Dear all,
Leading up to the Euro tournament in June this year, I am conducting some research looking at fans’ views towards the role of football in response to military conflict. For those interested in this topic, I have created a short survey that should not take up too much of your time: https://doit.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9zZmrJfShOSBDDw Participation is completely voluntary, but I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this topic. 4
General Discussion / University Research on the Qatar World Cup« on: January 04, 2023, 03:45:32 AM »
Dear All,
Happy new year. I am involved in a university research project looking at the recent World Cup in Qatar and whether this was a highly unusual tournament, unlikely to be repeated, or the start of future World Cups loaded with political and social issues. To answer this, we have created a short survey that I hope you can spare a few minutes to share your views: https://teesside.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/the-qatar-world-cup-and-the-new-politics-of-sport Thanks in advance for your time. 5

Dear all,
I am involved in some research looking at sportsmen and women's activism in sport. Given the recent debate over the England players taking a knee I think this would be of interest to members of this forum. To do so, I have created a short survey that should only take a few minutes of your time: https://northumbria.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/athlete-activism Participation is completely voluntary, but I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this subject area.
