What happend  to the lad ? Shipp ?    :scarf:

Go to BBC sport football and read, From 'smell of death' to Spurs FA cup tie- how the Palios family is reviving Tranmere.

An eye opener and excellent read for anyone with ambition to reach the  Football League  :scarf:

General Discussion / Play offs.
« on: May 27, 2018, 08:31:26 AM »
We were all disappointed at Lynn not being promoted but what about Dartford, national League South.

Havant & Waterlooville champions on goal difference 40/37

Dartford second 86 points same as H & W.

Braintree  6th. 69 points ,  17 points behind Dartford but promoted through Play offs.

Must have been really hard to take.   :scarf:

! penalty scored in last 18 games and 8 on the previous 18.

I think Clunan  missed one can't remember which 18 that would appear in.

General Discussion / Reserves and promotion ?
« on: October 16, 2017, 01:47:18 PM »
Perhaps Admin can clear this up for me.
On looking at the Non-League paper today I notice there are 6 reserve sides in the KL table
but none in the Thurlow Nunn premier, what happens if the said 6 are the top 6 at the
end of the season cos I had a feeling they cannot get promoted ?
Just as an aside Plymouth Argyle res. are top of the Carlsberg S.W premier.

General Discussion / League table

I notice KL have 4 games in hand of top 6 teams if they could go on little run what a difference,
all of a sudden to the season ! All supporters would be enjoying a happy new year  :scarf:

General Discussion / Goalkeepers
« on: September 22, 2016, 07:03:48 PM »
I'm afraid I'm old school, watching today's keepers prancing about doing star jumps, what hapend to diving at feet with hands on the ball
and getting the odd knock, the amount of goals that could be saved with a bit of courage, no longer are "all goalies are mad" they never get hurt and are more an extra full back instead of getting in there with the hands.

General Discussion / Whats happened to our game ?
« on: June 20, 2016, 06:59:10 PM »
Its so sad these days to see how the continentals have ruined the game I loved. What's all this get a tap or a bad look and rolling
all over the clutching somewhere that was not involved. And all this getting up to the opposing penalty area and ending up with your
own keeper. Please,Please Lynn you have a squad now good enough to walk this league please, please attack, attack ,attack.
