General Discussion / Radio Norfolk coverage.
« on: April 29, 2019, 10:12:28 AM »
Hopefully Radio Norfolk will cover the game for those who follow The Linnets but no longer live in the town.

General Discussion / Plans to end time wasting.
« on: October 05, 2018, 07:52:18 AM »
Did anyone else read the article regarding this? Cardiff City's match last Sunday v Burnley recorded a five year low. The ball was in play for only 42mins 2 seconds!.

General Discussion / Season ticket price 2018/19
« on: June 04, 2018, 10:39:45 AM »
So the price of the 2018/19 season ticket has been announced at 260, that's a saving of just 13 against pay on the day, not a big incentive in my opinion. You will undoubtedly miss the odd game here and there for holidays/illness which in real terms make it more expensive to watch Lynn with a season ticket than paying on the day. Admittedly, if you intend to watch the Reserves and Youth team regularly then you could make a saving. A lot of teams also include free entry for pre-season friendlies for season ticket holders but not at Lynn it seems.

General Discussion / Costly friendly.

Looks like Fryatt will be suspended for 3 games.

General Discussion / Category B matches. Statement by Mr Cleeve.
« on: July 16, 2017, 07:19:31 PM »
Having just read the Chairman's notes written for the Frome match, Mr Cleeve stated that 2 League matches MAY be categorized as Category B (15) the remaining 21 League matches WILL be Category C (12).

General Discussion / Season Ticket sales
« on: July 11, 2017, 02:24:35 PM »
I was wondering how many have been sold as saving a maximum of 45 doesn't seem that generous (3 matches).

General Discussion / Watch Lynn at Wembley 21 May 2017.
« on: December 08, 2016, 05:24:54 PM »
Non-League Finals Day is on 21 May 2017 (FA Vase Final followed by FA Trophy) Group bookings of 9 or more adults will cost 12.50 per adult a 50% discount. Juniors 1.

Dare we dream? All will become clearer around 5pm Saturday.

General Discussion / FA Cup

With no news forthcoming with regard to a shirt sponsor, the game on Saturday is surely a must win match to get some cash flow in to the club. 3000 to the winners.

General Discussion / Lynn ladies v West Ham Ladies
« on: August 03, 2016, 07:35:52 PM »
I can't see many turning up to watch this match.  It seems well overpriced at 5 for adults.  Last season a season ticket for West Ham Ladies was only 55 and for that you could take 4 children in for free.  2 a lot more realistic.  Follow the example set by the reserves and price sensibly and people may turn up.

General Discussion / Clunan on a tightrope
« on: March 11, 2016, 09:55:50 AM »
9 cautions at present, another one and he'll be suspended for two games.

General Discussion / Non League Finals Day Wembley 22 May
« on: March 03, 2016, 11:40:02 AM »
Is anyone thinking of going?  FA Vase Final and FA Trophy Final being played on the same day.  1215 ko for the Vase and 1600 for the Trophy I believe.  Also exhibitions to see.  25, 10 concessions 1 children.

I'm sure I heard Claridge on Talksport a while back also mention that group bookings are also discounted.

Last year they were charging 25 just for the Vase, a step in the right direction.

General Discussion / Quite a finale at Barrow.
« on: January 09, 2016, 07:44:41 PM »
If The Linnets supporters felt glum on Tuesday night against Merthyr spare a thought for Barrow fans today.  Barrow scored in the 87th minute to go 3-1 up, only to concede in the 90th, 90+2 and 90+5 to lose 3-4.
