Best thing about todays loss is that the bottom 7 ALL lost so no ground lost.

Is showing than KLTFC U23s are at Heacham tomorrow night but with 24 hours notice have bailed out because of transport issues. Doesn't stop them (KLTFC U23s) arranging to play Downham at Downham instead. Not the same transport issue?
Very poor KLTFC. 4
General Discussion / observation« on: May 07, 2023, 08:53:10 PM »
Well here is an unbiased observation after my 3rd game of the season at the Walks.
Reading through all the other postings first there is not one message slagging off the 3rd team, referee and his 2 linesman. Why you ask? Because there was nothing in particular to complain about apart from the possible blatant time wasting towards the end. Jordan Pickfords twin in goal for Kidderminster being the worst culprit. What a dick! Dreadful defending again from the kick off could of resulted in a very early goal, much like the Chorley game. Dreadful penalty to give away but an even worse penalty kick to miss. Cocky prat. More dreadful defending and Kiddie go 1up but Stephens, by far our outstanding outfield player then equalises, jumping to head in, showing Gold what he should of been doing. Gold was having a nightmare winning nothing in the air and unable to put a decent pass in. Coulson was blowing out of his backside trying to get anywhere near the speedy Kiddie front men. Half time 1-1 and the hope was still there but not a great half by Lynn. Second half absolute disaster. Stephens the best player outfield gets hooked. Who got that so wrong? The same person who is in the same mould as Tommy Widdrington for gobbing off at the officials and subsequent yellow card. If only he had gobbed of to his own team and woken some of them up. 2-1 became 3 then 4 along with the dissallowed efforts. Lynn keeper well deserved the Lynn m-o-m award, had substantially more to do than Jordan Pickford. Without him double figures were on the cards. Finally on my way home felt sorry for the Spar shop by the railway line. There were 4 coaches in the car park (200+ supporters) who pretty much descended into the shop before boarding the coaches. I wonder how much did not go through the tills? BTW when was the last time KLFC took SIX coaches to an away game? Bet it wasn't £40 a ticket. 5
General Discussion / Stevenage win at Villa« on: January 08, 2023, 07:20:43 PM »
Congratulations to Stevenage, winning at Villa Park this afternoon. Yes it might have been the Linnets travelling to Villa Park today bit it wasn't to be and our defeaters stole the limelight today.
Great for Paul Raynor who was a great stalwart as a Lynn player and a pain in the butt playing against us over the seasons. No plaudits from me for Evans though. No time for his achievements over the years, by hook or by crook. 6

According to the home page it is stating that 2004 v Exeter was the last 3000+ crowd at the Walks. So what about 2006 when there was over 5000 for the Oldham game. With 3000 tickets sold as of sunday the ticket office needs to be very busy the next 3 days to beat the Oldham crowd.
I seem to remember Boston stewards were used for that game. You might as well have asked the ballboys to do their job. Clueless. As were the police stating no merchandise to be sold outside the ground by KLFC. Didn't matter about the fake merchandise that appeared in the Walks and at the back of the main stand. 7

That the top three in the league all managed to lose on the same day in the Trophy.

General Discussion / Fa Cup saturday« on: September 29, 2022, 10:15:18 AM »
I see from the main page that Kettering are the all time top scorers in the FA Cup with 908 goals, 2 ahead of Premier League Spurs.
Quite an achievement. Am i right in thinking that Kings Lynn held a recoerd in the late 90's early 20's of winning the most FA Cup games? Another little piece of info is that KLTFC will still be top of the league on saturday night despite being in cup action. Let's hope that they actually supply some action after all the reports of their performance on Tuesday at Kettering. That info also came from people who were at Holbeach v Heacham last night that had also been at Kettering the night before. 10

General Discussion / R.I.P Linda Kerrison« on: September 10, 2022, 12:48:18 PM »
It has been placed on Facebook by a friend of Nigel Kerrison, the very sad news that staunch King's Lynn supporter Linda Kerrison (wife of Nigel) passed away on Thursday.
Nigel and Linda have been to a massive amount of home and away games and ideally her sad passing will be acknowledged before a future King's Lynn game either with a round of applause or minutes silence. May she now be at peace after many years of suffering the horrendous illness for someone so young. 12

Just so people do not turn up for the game it is definitely not tomorrow night 7/7/22. 13
General Discussion / Notts County sign midfielder« on: March 17, 2022, 08:38:17 PM »
Massive news in Nottingham re Notts Countys latest midfield signing.
No not Michael Clunan. Harry Arter ex premier league not so long ago with Bournemouth now joined Notts County from Nottingham Forest. From what i have seen of him since Chris Hughton took him to Nottingham he better pull his socks up. Satisfied with drawing big money for next to no effort. 14
General Discussion / Well done Boreham Wood« on: February 06, 2022, 08:37:16 PM »
What an amazing achievement. Just shows that you can chase the league and cups and a huge amount of money further with Everton in the next round.
Well done to everyone involved. 15

Seemingly another person not on talking terms with SC has been removed from the Walks!
