Anyone got any inside information on who is injured etc. amongst the Team?
Is it just fitness that stops player's availability or could it be that "time off work" causes us selection problems, especially midweek.
I am thinking mainly of Ross Barrows who really should at least be on the bench. Aaron Jones has reclaimed his RB position but I feel that Barrows deserves to be in the Team.
Let's see what Tuesday evening brings Away at Chesterfield,

For those who did buy an Altrincham FC Stream before the Postponement:
I contacted the Streaming Company (TicketCo UK Ltd) received this reply from Bill Waterson:
"Hi Michael
We offer two options: a refund or a voucher for any other stream including the rearranged match. (this last one less attractive if you're a Linnet as your email address might suggest!).
I've got to push the button on the standard emails but I will do that this afternoon.
Thanks for the question
Bill"
I have not seen any "Standard email" yet but will update this Post when I hear anything.

How do you see this one panning out Hopefully both Callan-McFadden and McAuley will have recovered to lead the Defence. What news Aaron Jones. If not then can we bolster the Backline somehow I think a Back Four of Barrows, Smith, Fleming and Brown - with a Midfield Four of Clunan, Jarvis King and Carey - with Loza and Marriott Up Front. Subs: Southwell, Mitchell, Kelly, Power and Gash

After the excitement of the win at Port Vale we return to the National League with a visit to Sutton United on Saturday 14th.
Laying 4th in the Table (Lynn 18th) Sutton were beaten 0 - 1 by Notts County at Home but have beaten Maidenhead 3 - 0 (Home). Their Away record is impressive with 3 x Wins.
If we can reproduce the performance against Port Vale I can see us gaining at least 1point.
Start with the same formation and players as at PV.

How is Ian Culverhouse going to approach this game against Port Vale Will he treat it as a "Training Session" and ring the changes in formations as the game progresses without really hoping any result? Or will he go defensive and try to grab victory with a goal on-the-break? Who have we got fit? Aaron Jones? I think we need to go 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2. Pointless playing 1 up front. Views?

On another site the subject of 3, 4 "invited guests" watching the game, and quite clearly seen in the far Stands during the 1st half, has had lots of comments.
Unfortunately The Fans of King's Lynn FC Admin (JH) has had a sense of humour failure and removed all comments on the subject.
Lots of comments were against the entry of these volunteers as a reward for their work at The Walks. Good for them for their vo.untary time.
However, I believe - and so many others, that the Behind Closed Doors Rule has been contraveined by whoever invited them to attend. Albeit a kind gesture by "The Club" the BCD at Step 1 and above does not allow ordinary fans to attend and these persons were not attending as voluntary workers.

After our loss at Ebbsfleet in the FA Trophy Lynn can now concentrate all our efforts to the League.
Two games in hand over York and 1point ahead and the BIG GAME next Saturday at Home against The Minstermen (after York Minster).
(King's Lynn Minster (St Margaret's) is a Grade I listed parish church in the Church of England in King's Lynn. It was granted the honorary title of Minster in 2011. The word derives from the Old English "mynster", meaning "monastery", "nunnery", "mother church" or "cathedral".)
Our Two games in Hand will not be resolved until late in the season and may even extend to 3games if Leamington get through this Round of the FA Trophy after today's 1 - 1 Draw) and our our game against them is postponed on 8th Feb.
York also have some possibly unwelcome games in The North Riding Cup with their 1/4 Final game against Whitby on 28th Jan and possible further games if they proceed.

From Greg Plummer's Twitter:
Greg Plummer @GregTheLynnNews Just spoken to @officialKLtown director of football @Backie9 who says the stories linking striker Adam Marriott are just pure speculation. The frontman remains on contract at The Walks and there has been no official interest from any other club at this moment.
