Surely if there is tie up between Norwich and Lynn. ( u23ís playing at The Walks) then the lad should be heading our way.

Wonít be great if Norwich send the lad out to a Club in our League instead of us who are locally based.

Didnít like the sound of King being fatigued.  Hence why he missed the Gorleston game.  The hope was he would be back training the following week ( this interview must have been just after the Gorleston game).  Obviously he hadnít recovered enough to play at Chelmsford.

IC seems upbeat and his expecting a middle table position, though SC seems to be thinking higher.

Be interesting to hear the positivity from IC this arvo.   I have to admit it has felt a very flat summer thus far.   No real headline signings, squad that looks paper thin, friendlies where we seem to have gone away with 13 players.  The PR at Club seems very distant and uninspiring.   The Chairman seemingly disappearing from the position as the figure head at Club.  The Club Circa 750k in the red.

Anyway hopefully IC will have addressed at lot of the concerns in this interview

Always a worry when King is missing, with his history.

No long term contract commitments.  If a player is injured then no further outlay.   Players coached in a way that fits with ICís ideas.  Locally based players.  Wages on a level that is acceptable.  A decent size pool of players to tap into.   Pre-season game bringing in much needed finance.

Iím sure there are others that others could add.

What do you see as the negatives ?

Can see plenty of positives in a tie up with Norwich U23ís.   David Wright being in charge.  Now thereís irony for you.

Just hope the tail doesnít wag the dog.  Norwich are a big powerful set up now and many teams would be happy to have that tie up.  Does it come at a cost ?

Unlikely to be the same as last season.

One Reserve team leaves and another moves in.

With Norwich U23ís playing a good few home games at The Walks could this be an interesting tie up where we see loaners from City dipping in and out of our squad ?  Is the player tonight with the Canaries ?

£10 admission £3 streaming.  Sounds like a club who wants to encourage fans to support them.  Are they one level below us ?

Great PR from Chelmsford

Marriott started to miss fire toward the end of the curtailed NNL winning season which coincided with our drop in form.  Be interesting to see how he performs for Barnet this season.

As for Fox, he got found out on the defensive side of his game.  Donít think he was involved in the NNL winning season.  How games did he start that season ?

Strange carry on with regard to fans not be being permitted to attend the Harrogate v Sunderland pre season game today (0-4).  800 Sunderland fans had bought tickets prior to the game.  Harrogate were advised at 2pm on Friday the game had to be played behind closed doors
