General Discussion / Re: Season tickets

I havenít seen any admission prices released yet. So I guess season tickets will go on sale then. The trouble with season tickets is it makes it all most impossible to offer any kind of incentives during the season as you are then disadvantaging those that support club in terms of them buying a season ticket.

Just looking through the various Clubs who have got season tickets on sale.

Southport are offering an early bird deal of £169 for an adult.  That works out at just over £7 a game (7.35 ).  How do Clubs afford to offer such attractive prices ?

12 months ago think Boston had finished higher in the table than we have this season.  Have to give Culverhouse  the credit for gaining yet another NLN promotion.  Be interesting to see what is offloaded there.

Thanks for correcting my mistake Squire  :countingmoney:

Play-offs affecting Lynn seem to be done and dusted now.

Teams coming into the NLN look like

Needham Market
Oxford City.
Leaving are

Bishop Stortford
Blyth Spartans

Well thatís the way itís looking

Bromley have been promoted, via the play-offs to the Football League.  Average home gate this season was just over 1400.  Hope for Kings Lynn, going forward

Ian Culverhouse leads Boston into the National League with 2-1 win at Brackley.   No big local Derby next season

Adult season tickets now available there at under £13 a game.  Value for money that.

Is Barry Pierrepoint all recovered from his ill health now that caused him to step down from
A commercial role ?

I thought he was returning once fit and able.

Pointless keeping players who are not in the Managers Plans. It Costs though to pay up a players contract.  Some wonít be in a hurry to leave if they are in decent money.

Looking back to to last summer I canít understand how the Chairman handed out 2 year contracts to some 13 players then get to November for the Chairman to say the club is on its uppers and without outside investment the Club canít continue.

Then looking we have a change of Manager who doesnít fancy some ( 50%?) of the players on long term deals.   More mess to clear up

Maybe itís cruel to pee all over SCís  latest out of the box idea for a Club the size of us.   Have to admit though itís never dull with him around.

Lakeland said the Club needs massive improvement right the way through.  Maybe this is just the start.   Hopefully the appointment will be made in good time for the person to really get their teeth into it over the summer.
