...Should we really be happy coming away with just a point ? Just asking
Last season we went there in really good form and squeaked the win thanks to a bit of Barrett magic but as we all know we are a different team now. Will be interesting to see how AL's system of just staying in shape and not actually challenging for the ball until it gets to our box works on their postage stamp pitch, space will be at a premium but hopefully Ben's goal last weekend will see him rediscover a bit of confidence.
Still no news on the injury front to the likes of Hughes who we still really miss, yet again a much heralded media reset at the start of the season becomes more of the same well before Christmas, not a pop at any individual as it is something that has continued through different media teams / management set ups.
What’s happened to the goalkeeper, Dixon Hodge, I believe was his name, last heard of as injured, but is he injured, left the club or indeed sitting around the said table.

Not sure Daz I buy into all the players not being good enough at the start of the season. 10 players in the squad were with us under TW. The big problem is the players Hughes brought in to replace the quality we lost. Put that down to poor recruitment and a reduced budget.
Looking very much like false economy.
Mal, you have probably phrased it better than I did, however I still feel the players are not good enough for this level, centre backs, Okinawa my opinion, full backs not at level required imho, midfield ok but not as good as last season, forwards on paper ok but not as good on grass, JB,will be a huge miss but we need more goals and I personally don’t see where they are coming from at this moment, as you say down to budget.

From a personal point of view, I’m pleased to see the manager depart the club, nothing personal in that statement, just felt, like wrong man for the job, just an easy fix after Tommy’s departure. I’m sure he did not have the same budget as Tommy, but the quality of the players we have seen grace the walks turf this season, have not been of the standard required. We need to now see where the chairman’s going to take us next. I get the talk about Setch, would he want it, personally Setch and Backy could possibly work, imho, let’s face it, it can’t get any worse than what’s been dished up this season.

Poor players for level we play at and even poorer management team, needs replacing.

Well another 3 points gone, how much longer can our chairman afford to allow this to go on. Stick with this manager and assistant and watch the attendances plummet therefore losing more money, or part company and presumably pay up the contract, either way a no win for the chairman, but I know from a fan’s point of view, which is the preferred option. What blah blah blah will the interviews have in them after another defeat. We as a side are toothless.

No more Essex sides infa cup for us this season, last time I looked losing 4 nil, total garbage being delivered on the pitch this season, players recruitment not good enough, full time training not working, manager appears clueless. Time for change before it’s too late.

MA HILL its a Forum for all things football not just crossing the white line. If you are frightened of the TRUTH then don't read it and until i am banned by the Forum i will continue to post the TRUTH. Lies and blasthemy are the bullets i need to load the gun. (Started loading) Solicitors is now tomorrow, not today because of the vast amount of paperwork handed over that they are going through prior to face to face tomorrow. Finally i thank the massive messages of support that i have received so far. There are some good people in this world.
Correct Gordon, it’s a forum for all things concerned with the football club now known as King’s Lynn Town FC., You also have served my wife and I with many items of sporting goods, from kit bags, trophies and training kit through to actual match wear over many years and yourself and Graeme, have always been very competitive on pricing and super courteous on the service side.

Whilst we were poor yesterday, the scoreline didn't really reflect the game - individual errors and a great free kick for their goals, that said we did look really fragile and we still don't have a clear identity even for a plan A, let alone much idea of how to change things when they aren't going as hoped.
Recruitment looks a mixed bag with Oke and Cybukski looking the pick and others still to repay the managers faith in bringing them in - Spence showed glimpses yesterday and likewise with Smith on Tuesday evening when playing out of position but are they really what we needed in the middle of the park? The real problem seems to be those who were retained from last season haven't been firing and maybe MH needs to reflect on who he can trust and then maybe finding a system that gets the most out of those players rather than just picking what are perceived to be the 'best' players and hoping they will produce something
Next weekend is a bit of a free hit for me looking at the relative form / league positions but sure SC will want a cup run so maybe more pressure on MH, hopefully with players back from international duty / injury this will allow him to make some changes
All this players back from international duty, yes it’s top class opposition but not exactly a top class team we are sending a player off to represent, get real, Gibraltar would struggle against most national league teams.

Didn’t comment on present crop of players or indeed the manager, for a good while this season, when I did I said, I feel that most players are out of there depth at this level and I also feel the management are out of there depth, I feel they are good coaches but not good at managing a team. I realise we have a vastly reduced budget, but I’m sure it’s still better than lot’s of clubs at our level. I personally feel Mr Cleeve has gone down the cheaper road and it’s clear to see men v boys out on that pitch. Give the manager a little bit more time but changes will need to be made, if no improvements can be seen soon.

Sent off today, I’m sure daddy will be sticking up for him in his post match interview.
Being given a very rough ride on Shots forum.
So sad

I have to say, not posted on the forum so far this season, but felt the time is now to have my say, I strongly felt while we were recruiting players that they appeared to not be of the standard required, kept off the keyboard, sat back and waited too see, yes we need to pick players up from lower levels and take a chance, but we appear to pick up what’s left not get in there first. Fletcher Toll is maybe not at the level required for national level, but he’s as good as what is on display at the moment, should still be with KLTFC, sign him , train him and let him play on loan, surely worth a shot. We should also be looking at players dropping out of the EFL, we need a mixture of youth and experience, in my opinion each player who left has been replaced by an inferior player, just my opinion, but one I’m entitled to before I receive detrimental comments. I firmly believe the manager was living off the squad last season, yes he gained a few wins, but when it really boiled down to it he was out of his depth, as he seems to be so far this season, again only my opinion. I don’t know the budget and assume it’s a lot lower than last season, but if things don’t improve very quickly, we will be looking at relegation rather than promotion, I’ve now had my say, I’ll sit back, and see what happens a win at home today is vitally important otherwise we are starting to be cut adrift.

I have to agree, underwhelmed with some of the signings we’ve made, hopefully I will be proven wrong to doubt them , but, don’t feel they are the quality required.
