Understandable if it had been during Lakeland's reign.

On loan  at Kiddie, is this more like a try before you buy deal ?

With 4/5 players out on loan and the same injured I wonder if Cully will be looking to bring players in..... How about a McFadden return ?

Or Arron Jones?

Now there's a player I wouldn't mind seeing return.

Quote from: m a hill on November 09, 2025, 02:12:35 AMI'll wil second that Mal l do believe we have turned the corner but to send Michael G out on loan beggars believe I for one would like to know why send our top scorer out on loan there's more to this than meets the eye
I also wonder why he's been sent out on loan, but as has been stated elsewhere,  he really does not have a good record with length of service at any of his former clubs,KLTFC included in this. One look at all the clubs he has appeared for and only being 25, does ask questions as to why. We only see the players for 90 minutes a week, possibly 2 × 90 minutes a week,  but club staff see there players a lot more and as with previous clubs M.G. has been deemed surplus to requirements, for what reasons we as fans, don't know why, but we have to put faith in those at the club who have a better insight to the reasons why.

:bus: one of 5 points better off, last Saturday we were ecstatic at a point away at the team bottom of the league,  where we were heading for if action was not taken, forward a week and we score and draw at the team top of the league this morning.  Funny old game football ⚽️.  A long coach journey home this evening, but I'm sure a happier one than the boys had been having recently 😀.

Chapman and Gyasi sent out on loan and as Nick Bowler on BBC Radio Nawrich said can we expect incoming? Hopefully an old face or maybe 2 this week.  :worship:

I believe we will probably see players coming in,  but we must remember the outgoing players have only left on loan except one allegedly going back to Australia.  The players out on loan may possibly return,  but may not however if they return all the wages would then need covering .aswell as any new signings.  I also think we really need to go forwards not backwards regarding signings, new blood needed, remember also Fletcher Toll is  out on loan and could possibly be called back .

I'm not a regular at the walks these days, various reasons for this, but I'm not sure who is running the club or what direction those who are running it are heading. We really had lot's of optimism only 6 weeks ago, however this has all dwindled as will the crowds. We are still fed snippets about the club, if Cleeve is still involved then nothing has changed, if he isn't, well it's definitely not improved.
The young man who they've entrusted to lead the club is definitely not a manager at the level the club play at. Credit to Joe he took the role on but what have we to show , one win at lower league opposition in the Cup, and a draw in the league, obviously out of his depth, not knocking him just stating my opinion. We really do need a proven manager who has a contact list a club of our side could tap into. We as KLTFC fans deserve more, but I'm sure there are better times ahead.
If something doesn't change very soon and we don't start picking up points we are definitely in for a long winter. :oldman"  :farmer:

Well it was certainly exciting but like Mallard has said Telford on that viewing will not be in the top half of the table. Williams, Nyahwema and Gold stood out for me. I am sure the manager will look at the playback of any video particularly in the first half where we looked mighty vulnerable at the back. There will be plenty of teams in this league who will be very able to take advantage of that situation more than Telford.

Very early days where 8 of the starting line up were not in the side last year and it will take a bit of time to get the best balance of the squad.

The price of a bottle of water went down - I was charged an outrageous £2.50 for a bottle against Chester

I really find this Telford won't be a top half team at the end of the season, quite funny, anybody who watched most KLTFC games last season would have thought we would have been well in the mix for relegation, however we dished up mostly rubbish football yet made the playoffs. Funny old game of differing opinions.

Is it Docherty or Doherty?

You've used both spellings.

Any relation to Ground Sponsors?

As I read the article it's welcome to the Docherty Walks stadium ( the new name of the Walks) Rhys Doherty.

:scarf: I was just thinking what this must be doing to young Fletcher's head, what must he be feeling. Rejected once by his home town team , given a second bight at the cherry, or so he thought, but it appears deemed surplus to requirements again, without kicking a ball in a competitive match again. :scarf:

Surely Toll has to be a better option in the squad than Gold.  Least Toll looks like he's interested.  Don't get what a Manager like Rowe sees in a Gold.  Didn't think he would fit his MO at all.  Still Rowe seems to fancy him
Correct me if I'm wrong, Gold was on contract and also on the original retained list. This was I believe released before the new gaffer arrived, yes he could send Gold out on loan if desired, but someone has to be interested in taking him on loan. Fletcher is young and on a lot less money than Gold, so therefore easier to find a loan placement, where he can be tested and gain invaluable experience.

Stamford is a step higher than Corby, so it makes sense to have him there rather than back at Corby.

Good point.

As I stated on loan, definitely a step up from Corby and hopefully experience will be gained in Fletchers development into a future player for our first team.

Fletcher has been sent out on " long term loan " to Stamford, he will train with Lynn full time still, but appears to be surplus to requirements at this moment in time. There was a lot said about Fletcher on his return to the walks, but does not appear to be in James Rowes planning for the team at this present moment. Good luck Fletcher across the border in Lincolnshire and hopefully we will see a local lad back at the Walks, in the future leading our frontline.

Wow that is a decent gig for him.
Better suited to him, a lot more northern based , better for his contact list  :scarf:
