Looking at how many goals Fletcher Toll has notched at Corby this season maybe we should have tried harder to get him onboard, and not let Setch nip in and get him.
Toll refused a contract at Corby

Hughes is not good enough full stop he should never have been given the job in the first place , he’s got to go now before we are completely down there with no hope

Just give the budget, which I’d say is much higher than when he was in charge, to Gary Setchell love or hate the lad he had passion imo wasn’t given a decent chance at all

Loopy how much praise should be heaped on SC IF he managed  to return the Club to the place where  it was when he joined, but this time with it sitting £1m in the red ?    Would that have happened on the Chapman watch ?
see again cleeve he don’t pick the team the manager do so the results and performances lay at his feet ,Simple really yet all we get is cleeve club debt ect

Not all coaches make good managers there seems an obsession to blame Cleeve the buck stops at the managers feet

The responsibility falls on the chairman, not the manager, if he is not given the necessary tools to get the job done. Only a fool would not be able to understand what is happening. There's no more money, so it's game over and we're back where we started when Mr. Cleave arrived at the end of this season, or maybe even worse than before…..
You’ve proved my point obsession with Cleeve it’s the forum’s specialty bashing the owner are you still upset you didn’t get your hands on the club 😂😂😂😂😂

Yes a poor result and performance, but before you call for his head I think we need to take some things into consideration. What was his brief at the start of the season, if it was to keep us up I would think he has a fair chance of succeeding once all the injured, suspended and international call ups are back. Does he have sole decision on signings if not he can only work with what he is given. By all accounts he is a very good coach, but any team losing a lot of experienced players and signing a number of replacements take time to gel, look at Chelsea.

Still early days but this game should give us a steer as to to where we are at. At face value a draw would be considered positive and a step in the right direction?

As for match sponsors being sought at the eleventh hour: why am i not surprised. I am old enough to recall a time when match sponsors were on board well ahead of the games, where most players were sponsored by early in the season and when off field commercial activity and fund raising was on going throughout the year.

I wonder what went wrong?!
,
Every game sponsored BEFORE the start of the season started. Interesting pre season games, Player sponsorship-full. Match ball sponsorship-full. Supporters Club, 100 club,(£100 winner EVERY home game), Away Travel every game, Superb clubshop, regular functions, end of season 3 days/nights of marquee events, Function room booked out an average of 3 nights a week, end of season presentation nights. Oh sorry that was pre Cleeve when the locals wanted to sponsor and got value for their sponsorship.
