Not the best performance definetly get out of jail today. We looked lethargic and uninterested most of the game. But indeed where does that leave us?

Definitely lethargic and no movement off the ball. Couldn’t understand why, that even though they were losing with ten minutes left they persisted in rolling the ball along the back line. The only player showing real passion was Blake-Treacy who duly got MoM.

Has been all season at wing back :dontknow: certainly not full back?

“Top Class” wing back. Excellent at this level but we’ll see as he moves up through the leagues as I am sure he will.

Just read what what he put on twitter earlier on. Just want to say that its been a pleasure watching him race down the right and making poor old defenders go flat on the floor. Not just that but a goal creator and scorer. Best right back ive ever seen humble the walks. Top class player and a top class guy. Good luck mate  :scarf: :scarf:

I agree with all that. Also I would think he will progress as a top class wing back.

For various reasons it was the first match for me at Lynn this season. I have to say it reminded me of the football we played in the Northern Premier League in the early eighties. Certainly one of the best Lynn teams I've seen ever. Surprised that there was a sudden drop in the attendance though.
I can only see this team getting better.
And Grissles why would anyone defect to Wisbech with football like that at the Walks?

General Discussion / Re: NEIL FRYATT RETURNS

Seems to be a football dynasty forming at The Walks.
Could have so easily been the Setchell family but recent events now make it seem it will be the Fryatt family, especially with Neil returning as under-18 manager.
Ryan is scoring at will as well, and Liam is now awaiting in the wings after being discarded by the club earlier in the season

Sorry, but I don't think Liam is anywhere near what is needed for the first team.

He could be.  That and more.

I agree.........Chris Ward?! Too many have been written off in the past without getting reasonable chance and the encouragement to go out and play to their full potential IMO.

I have to agree with you Rod.

Glad to see Chris back. Didn't get the extended run his form deserved.

Straight in with your twenty goals a season man. Anyone who has seen him play for and against us will be very impressed.

A step in the right direction, as most youngsters are at school until eighteen and beyond.
I would like it to go further and providing students show their student card let them in for£4 as well.
What do you think Mr. Cleeve?

Thanks Buster for an excellent six years. We have the solid base needed for the future. Strong local players, a good reserves side, under 18's and youth teams.
That is the basis for progress with not too much investment needed at the moment.
I, like a few other posters have googled the new chairman and yes he has had a chequered career but instead of negative comments why can't all TRUE Linnets fans get behind him.
Let's judge him on what happens next season.

I have to agree with Robbo's post. None of the youngsters that have come in have let anyone down. In fact I would say they have done a lot better job than anyone could have imagined.

In reference concerning an earlier post, Setch always said that George Thompsons contract was to stop clubs at the same level hunting him out. He also said that if a club from a higher level came in he would not stand in Georges way.
