Does anybody remember the good old days when we used to build through midfield like a proper football team? I can watch hit and hope in the Sunday pub league.

If you are planning to drive to the match via Tennyson Avenue, be warned that the road is closed this morning at the level crossing.

That was a terrific performance in every area. The defence coped with everything, tackles were won all over the pitch. Lynn challenged everything in the middle of the park, Clunan fought for everything and his distribution, along with Barrett was a delight to behold. Ponticelli's pace was a real problem. Darlington did not know what to do after number 3. Bring on Banbury and Donny. Crewe Alex in round 2 please'
