General Discussion / Re: Match report V Kings Langley

Made hard work of today, got 2-0 up then stopped playing, the same when it went 3-1, the weak link is the defence.
Nothing personal to Sam Gaughran, but he is too slow and gets caught out.

On a positive note Lynn won and gained another three points, Lynn are great at passing the ball about and going forward, but at the back?
Last season the team would of drawn or lost, but they hung in and got the win.

Quite alot, if the powers that be don't get their arses off their chair and get a main shirt sponsor etc in!
You can't just reply on ppl coming through the gate, no club can at our level, also more off field earnings would come in handy.

Lets all just watch the football, and don't worry if the club is not paying the bills, I hear someone say!
Have we not been here before? 2009 or don't anyone remembers!

Isn't it what the 2.00 increase in entrance for?, To increase the budget.
Also with the great honourable chairman shooting his big mouth off about  The Trust not handing him money, why don't he get off his arse to actually do something about sponsorship be it shirt, advertising boards, the stand etc. Or employ someone who can do it. And be realistic with prices, this is little non league King's Lynn not Premiership Chelsea. Something is better than nothing, even having a raffle for the shirt sponsor, making contact with local businesses in Lynn and surrounding areas say at 500.00 a ticket and the winner becoming shirt sponsor for the season. Better than bleating about not being able to get a sponsor.

How about 2 former England international Strikers in Barry Bridges and Dion Dublin

With reference to Dion Dublin he was about 17 years old and was a centre back on loan from Cambridge United, what happened after was a big money move to Man U.]

Female mud wrestling at 10 a pop, could bring a few in to contribute towards next year's budget.  😆
1000@ 10 equates to 10000, well that's one weeks budget sorted 😉

I personally think, the players have the next 10 games to impress the new manager, the squad will need to improved from a midtable team to top 4. I get the feeling that theire could be quite changes.

Lynn would of lost today, whoever was manager, but to turn up and not try, as people have said is unacceptable. It let's everyone down, the club and especially the Lynn fans who spent hard earned money, who went to support the club.
Sounds like there could be a brand new team next season.

No doub't a few players who were in the comfort zone, now have ringing in their ears. Shape up or ship out comes to mind, all the players are not on contract.
