General Discussion / Re: Postponed

Maybe it was imported with the mass exodus of people out of London ,jumping us out tier 2 into tier 4 in a week ?

Interesting theory. I would think that any that didn't follow the rules during the Pandemic, ignored social distancing, thought the rules didn't apply to them etc, all had their part to play in spreading the virus.

Or the daily commuters from Lynn to London bringing it back.

No Fans for the Notts County match then.

With Lynn and Gt Yarmouth getting themselves on the national radar with over a 50% increase in covid infections last week the match taking place with fans present is certainly in doubt. An announcement according to the news is imminent with stricter restrictions coming into force as early as Boxing Day.

My understanding is Elite in respect of Non-league is National League, NLN and NLS. As it stands Hornchurch are not allowed to train so if the game is played this will be the first time that Hornchurch have been together as a team.

Hornchurch is currently in Tier 4 and are a Step 3 side.  All football at Step 3 and below in Tier 4 is currently suspended, so unless things change this fixture already looks in doubt.

OAP's are still being charged full rate though, more than any other National League club by at least 25%.

The reduced child prices is only for 200 children.  It still remains a fact that Lynn are charging the highest prices for OAP's in the National League.

Norwich have suspended their season tickets for this season and are rolling them over to next season, so all pay at Norwich.

Bromley didn't sell season tickets this season as they couldn't guarantee the season would conclude.  This was a good move as last season early bird Adult season tickets were 200 and 260 thereafter.  They could make more money by charging pay per game with restricted numbers being admitted.  Last season's season ticket holders and those with membership have priority in buying tickets.  Their prices are as follows:

Adult 20
Concessions (OAP) 15
U/16 7

An additional 5 for all categories if you want to sit in the stand.

Last season if you booked in advance it was 15 adult. 10 concession, with free seating if required. Two u/16's free with a full paying adult, so a substantial rise which was communicated before the then start date in September.

I think Mr Cleeve is trying to make up the shortfall to compensate for season ticket holders who have already paid upfront, but 22 for a child?  This really has to revisited.

Seasons Greetings.

General Discussion / Re: Barnet away Tuesday

With Barnet losing 3-1 at home to Bromley on Saturday they will not want two home defeats on the bounce.  Lynn will do extremely well to come away with anything from The Hive.  Dover is a must win game.

That's a very fair point LL.  The Premier League is no longer affordable to the average working man, it has got completely out of control. Most people who claim to support a top team are only in fact followers of a team as they never actually get to see that team play due to the ridiculous prices to line the pockets of the rich.

Heacham's debut in Senior football. A nice little set up there.

So this means that the date shown on the last seasons shirts (1879) is incorrect.  Will this be rectified for this season?

I believe Lynn are exempt until the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup given their new status.

Thanks Nigel,

Yes it paid off Mallard, they haven't increased their prices for 3 seasons with season ticket sales breaking records each year.  They did an early bird offer which offered a substantial discount. I think it worked out at around 11 a game for a full paying adult.

They also don't charge for their U/23 games, also they open up their facilities to screen lunchtime PL games on match days and the first pint is free.

Season tickets need to have a significant discount for them to be attractive, Lynn's was pitiful.

Bromley for 2019/20 was 18 which include seating but if booked in advance online 15.

Premier League/EFL season ticket holders 15

Concessions/NHS/Armed Forces/Emergency Services 13 if booked in advance online 10

Full paying adult also include 2 free children if required.
