If we had had Tommy from the Start I don’t think we would have been in this position but has it is I think I can hear the orchestra warm up to play Rule Britannia and whose that peeking around the corner oh no it’s the Fat Lady

When Gold scored the first goal I thought we were in with a chance but alas it wasn’t to be from then on we were outclassed IMO but I enjoyed the banter with the county fans that surrounded me where I was sitting in the corporate area but I wished them luck in the play offs

It would be nice Gordon we did much the same in the village up in Derbyshire but we need to get more people interested but at the moment it’s like flogging a dead horse everyone can comment on here but no one will step forward to help out, FOTL have put on two events both poorly attended, I know what needs to be done but would we get the backing, l think not, all I hear is people moaning but no one will do anything about it

Mall you are right we are there to support the club IMO and that’s the thinking of putting on events to raise money not to lose it .I would love to put on a event with an ex footballer but these don’t come cheap. Also to be a more of a social club, but as I have said before there is a lot of apathy at the club at the moment

In your first statement beginning mines full you called the City ground the cricket ground so take a look back ,regarding the fiends we are planning to put an event on every mth my only concern is that if we do will anyone attend, regarding being quiet we say something when we have something to announce. We are still wanting Committee members we could do more if we had a full committee to help bring new ideas to the table
