Perhaps Joe wanted to experience the delights of British Rail in which case he is lucky he didn't chose the Chorley game. Standing room only on the train to Manchester after the game ( should have been 6 carriages and was only 3) and then no trains in or out of Piccadilly ( Manchester) for most of the evening due to a "tresspass" incident.

The most memorable fa cup game for me was being taken to Brighton in the sixties for a game full of goals! Brighton 10 Wisbech 1 ( Graham Lawrence scoring for Wisbech if my memory serves me correctly.)

What did Adam think of his team's performance yesterday?. Do I need to take out a subscription to one of the local papers to find out?

A very good performance today against another full time team. Virtually a quarter of a way through the league season and in a very healthy position only two points off top place. Patrick, the goalkeeper did OK but didnt actually have a lot to do. Josh was given man of the match by the sponsor but it could have gone to any of the players as they all put in a shift. So the football was tasty but I don't know about the hot dogs as I didn't partake as with all things Lynn they were expensive. Let's hope the football momentum continues against Oxford on Tuesday evening.

An enjoyable day out in Ashton even though Lynn lost. Lynn M.O.M for me was Sam Walker. In the early stages Curzon bossed the game with their No11 and No7 both looking impressive. Big miss by Williams when faced with an open net. Gold provided a few flick on with his head and had one cross taken away from him when he looked as if he might score. He was certainly no more or less effective than any other Lynn player. Lynn began to look the stronger side in the second half and then the killer blow from Curzon. Decent set up at the ground( eg decent toilets, REASONABLE admission charge.) Good to see lots of youngsters using the all weather pitches adjoining the ground.

Thought I would join the 100 guests on here! and give my prediction. Lynn will win. It might take a replay and a penalty shoot out. The last away game I went to was at Alfreton. If they play like they did that day they won't win.
