Bit confused Gordon remind me what made you jump to that conclusion, perhaps in future I will stop calling moaners to gripers and I must admit they have plenty to gripe about at the moment. So what do we do about it, keep griping on here or try and do something about it and in my small way this is what I am trying to do
Moaners and now gripers. You say they have plenty to gripe about at the moment but what about the past few years! Are these people not welcome as members of the new Supporters Club or must they only be people who say yes Stephen you are right of course Stephen etc etc! Everyone has an opinion and the bull ****ers who have no intention of changing their ways just lead you further into the darkness.
I will gamble that friday will be yet another waste of 1 hour. Hopefully i will be proved wrong but i am not holding my breath.

MAH you need to get a better source of information. Subbed saturday at 3-0 after scoring and making the other 2 goals and after 13 minutes tonight scored the 1st goal for Wroxham.
Yes he is a youngster but much older then the 16 year old who made his debut for Liverpool against Norwich last tuesday and in my mind was man of the match. Remember a 16 year old Rooney?
If you are good enough you are old enough. What have KLTFC got to lose. Can't be any worse than what we have produced so far.
Make that 2-0 Wroxham. Taylor BOTH goals!

I don't think you get it Mr Hill, even now. You seem to want to group all those disaffected supporters who feel disconnected by the club's recent actions as mere 'Moaners'.......you appear to be almost looking down your nose at them, as if they should just turn up to a match regardless. Some have very genuine reasons for not currently attending. The club ( and indeed the FOTL) needs to make real efforts to get these people back on board......a meeting such as the Fans Forum is a start...but only a start.....it will take a lot of work and eventually actions rather than words to get them back on side. Listening to them and acting on it, might save this club's future........being unnecessarily petulant and derogatory certainly won't.
Superb post Kes in response to the opposite from the chairman of the new supporters club. Think Mr Hill needs to apologise to the moaners and anybody else that has voiced their concerns, worries etc on where the club is heading!
The content of that post will certainly not encourage me to join the new supporters club.

On one i occassion i tried to book the B&G for a 60th birthday party, quoted an absolute over the top price PLUS extra for plugging into the electric socket if not using a specific DJ!!!!!!!

Same here Gordon. Wanted our 25th wedding anniversary party there. Ended up at Gaywood church rooms instead. Both rooms at nearly half the cost. Perhaps the present owner has lowered the costs involved.
Pigs might fly! Lol! Anyone got a 10 ticket to watch Norwich against Liverpool tomorrow night. Yes 10!!!!!!!

lets hope we get drawn at home to a sensible club!
Also we will be sensible and put out a team to go through a few rounds and the rewards that go with it.
look at our FA Trophy demise last year. Total lack of respect to the competition (and rewards) and blew it at little old Hornchurch who i believe went on to win it at Wembley. It could of been us!

great quote in todays Daily Mail by Roy Keane. Greavsie once said he went through a goal drought and it was the worst 15 minutes of his career! Absolutely brilliant.

John H you are right Marriot is history
Blimey MAH you have a short memory. 12/9/21 at 07.04.24 you were spouting from the keypad to bring back Marriott! That's the problem with computers if you don't delete previous posts they bite you on the bum.
I remember the previous supporters Club assisting bringing the likes of Danny Bloomfield to KLFC. What a signing that was, just short of 50 goals first season at the club.
I wonder if anyone out there is brave enough to actually say why they will not join the new Supporters Club. Without members you are wasting your valuable time. Could it be that in past days the Supporters Club ran the club shop where items were priced reasonably, 100 club with a 100 prize drawn at every home game, lottery bonus ball every week, away travel to most games, functions regularly in the Blue and Gold, End of season 3 day event in a marquee on the pitch of which 2 days were under the Supporters Club banner and included a players presentation day, Supporters Christmas lunch with usually 100 seated to a 3 course dinner in the Blue and Gold before the final game before Christmas, Auctions, quizzes, etc etc.

How many people organised and ran said activities, and over how many years did that social club evolve? :dontknow:
I specifically ran the supporters club abley assisted by Stephen Hooks when required and in respect of the clubshop assisted by Kevin Chase. I organised all the functions except the sit down end of season (friday) night in the marquee, i took over at 6am on the saturday mornings to rearrange the marquee for saturday nights totally sold out events and also sundays presentation days etc., away travel, stock/merchandise for the clubshop, dripfeeding new lines every home game to keep supporters interested. At the same time when Sally was unwell i had the booking diary for all the B&G functions EVERY friday and saturday evenings abley assisted by a great bar team. Also wakes, christenings, wedding receptions etc. Xmas Christmas Supporters 3 course lunches  again helped by Kevin Chase followed by auctions of memorabilia etc.
Moving forward to when i came out of hospital in 2015 i wanted to organise charity nights at the BLUE and GOLD of which i did the first 2 but because of the room being to expensive and not big enough i then ventured to larger things such as the Corn Exchange.
On one i occassion i tried to book the B&G for a 60th birthday party, quoted an absolute over the top price PLUS extra for plugging into the electric socket if not using a specific DJ!!!!!!!

Gordon,  in ballpark figures how much did the then Supporters Club raise per annum ?
Sorry all paperwork is in storage as i am in the process of moving. All i will say is that over a period of years it was an awful lot of money. the very first cheque presented to Colin Nichols was 5 figures.
