General Discussion / Re: V Dover
« on: December 12, 2021, 10:12:11 AM »
I believe some will have stayed away because of the uncertainty caused by ICs departure and Lynn , other than the hardcore 600, have a very fickle amount of “floating” supporters. But following Lynns win yesterday and the positivity from TW interview and his experience I believe the numbers will increase. In my opinion this is a great appointment , going forward once stability has been achieved and progress made TW is the sort of guy who can move upstairs for recruitment, etc and bringing in a new coach to work alongside will be a natural progression for the club

I said previously that if IC went the attendance would drop to the regular 600+, but obviously there are factors at the moment of Covid and Christmas.
That aside positive performance, i guess some of the players have had a kick up the behind from the manager and ………… their agents!
For me its all the 2’s
2 days in charge, it may take 2 weeks or 2 months to change things to how TW/SC want it but all we need is……….
2 places and its NL next year and rebuild AGAIN in the summer.

Volunteers shouldn’t be put on the frontline like this. The segregation is inadequate, the neutral area should be widened and staffed by professional security, no disrespect to our stewards, and a couple of 4 legged Police officers with 2 legged as back up. Otherwise the club is heading for a nasty reputation and a points reduction we certainly don’t want

If Culverhouse were to go, God forbid, the gates would plummet imo to below 600. That would be it , as well as his “favourite” players following him. We are playing good football, appear to ce competitive but lack a goal scorer that has to be a priority and the final piece of the jigsaw. Culverhouse and Bazza will get the ball rolling 2 wins and you’re half way up the table

I agree , he would have been snapped up by a league 2 team but maybe age and ability was against him

As good AS HE WAS do we really want Marriott back? He left chasing the pot of gold in his pocket, happy to sit on the bench at Barnet filling his pocket. Turning into a bit of a journeyman. Move on at least its stopped the campaign to have Defty back  :laughcry:

Considering the closer links between the 2 clubs, how about Mr Webber and Delia donating 100k ,with the option at the end of the 2021/22 season they can sign Sonny Carey. This lad is obviously going places and if he continues his progress he could be an asset to NCFC , he is the next George Thomson/ FBT for the club finance wise IMO

I”m now in Romania, and looking from here to the Uk its a fiasco with you. We are not currently under any restrictions but when e are its permits to travel just to the village shop , police checkpoints , we are currently wearing face masks once you leave your property. Should you be stupid enough to hold a party you get a nice visit from the black clad paramilitary police and the organisers face 2-5 years in prison. Nobody argues about the government, civil rights, freedom of speech. Mental health etc YOU DO AS YOUR TOLD policing at its best IMO. Football is nothing to the economy etc the season at all levels is a fiasco end it now start again with a clean slate in say July
