So two months till the opening day and around two weeks before training starts (he said, trying to whip up some enthusiasm in the absence of much coming out of the club). Still feels like quite a lot of business to be done. :Sherlock: :watching:
to be fair,if they don't know what the hell they are doing how can they be expected to tell others?

According to the Clubs X account there is a home fixture to be added to the list.  So think we can expect a stellar name to be the highlight of pre season.

Looking at the list of friendlies with a step 5 and a good few step 4 Clubs are some of the fixtures not for the U 23ís ?
Is it something to do with the level our new signings have been playing at?

Rod, I think you and I are of the same age and with that comes a certain cynicism and world weariness.

I certainly have seen nothing to substantiate Joe's involvement.

However if he is supporting the Club financially that is something to be grateful for.

That said,  it needs to be coupled with more involvement by the Club with its supporters and a better self financing business model.
so where did the money come from,if not from joe?

The fact is that buying a season ticket up front at Lynn is about the right price point for this level of football....Paying on the day as most fans tend to do is vastly overpriced and that includes away fans.If the walks was oversubscribed every home game then that's a different story but it's not.The club apparently has new investment but as of yet there is no paper trail whatsoever to back this up so perhaps" the pay on the gate fans" are still subsidising  the hobby.
If it was only the case of of it only being a hobby.what if it's far more than that?

I guess going elsewhere or nowhere is what many supporters are doing

:scarf: there are other advantages to buying a season ticket I.e.
Not queuing to pay for admission at the ground
Not having to remember or use the internet to pay for a ticket in advance.
No problems with printing a ticket out!
Oh yes I know in advance I cannot attend every home game so I also subside the club as the weekly payers!
That's your choice.those that can't afford to buy a season ticket have no choice and have to pay the higher rate. This club is not at the heart of the community as a certain person likes to claim when it suits his arguement

Isnít a shame some canít accept that there are fans out there who are happy to pay the price of a season ticket and help their club out.
helping the club out has got nothing to do with season tickets.Season tickets or paying on the day both help the club out and you could say that non season ticket holder's help the club out more as they pay more and there's more of them. All fans are willing to help the CLUB out!

Thought early Bird tickets discount of 29% was pretty fair in my opinion
to me it looks like a discount on already inflated prices

Boston have now sold 825 season tickets.Ours aren't even on sale yet!What's that?circa 250k?
Scunthorpe have sold 1800.circa 600k?
Darlington beat the budget stands at 166k.
I guess that's the other side of having a Joe and his chequebook so we don't have to worry about such trivial matters.
