:Super result all credit to the players and staff. A long midweek journey probably after work I wish the players at west ham had the same dedication and commitment

An excellent performance especially second half. All players played well looked a different class to Alvechurch. Hopeful of a good result at Warrington but it will be tough. As for crowd are children included in gate as they have free admission.

I suggest as the police are involved it would be wise not to discuss the matter here

Lynn second best all match. Hitchin looked more determined and up for it. Both full backs looked out of their depth I believe probably playing out of position. Hawkins and Henderson struggled with the physicality of the game and looked a touch disinterested. Gash tried manfully to his credit all game. The manager and assistant seemed resigned to the outcome of the game. Time to move on great support from kings lynn must have been at least 100 on a freezing night.

As a long distance linnet and occasional watcher of away matches I cannot understand the negativity with the club and chairman. What a great season you could support my team west ham and have the David sullivan and  gold as owners then you are entitled to moan

General Discussion / Re: Kettering Town - New Year's Day
« on: January 01, 2018, 09:08:48 PM »
Went to match. Good game eventful. I thought the sides were evenly matched. However Lynns forwards poor. mettam started off ok but faded. Gash you can see was once a good player but age has caught up with him. Time after time especially the first half the full backs were putting balls into the box but the forwards were never in the right position.

The crowd were very partisan and some of there players behaviour was poor obviously the sending off was documented and I am sure the manager was sent off/spoken to for kicking the ball away. I am also sure at the end of the game the Kettering centre forward was involved in a frank exchange of views with the Lynn supporters behind the goal.

But result apart an enjoyable afternoon involving two good sides. Impressed with young Kettering full back looks a real talent and destined for higher level football.

Due to living in London do not get chance to see Lynn much but certainly one of the strongest Lynn sides of recent years well managed, fit and always trying to play football.

General Discussion / Re: Match preview v Bishops Stortford

As a follower based on cusp of London and Essex a match at Bishop Stortford is a bonus. The first time I have seen the Linnets in a little while and was very impressed. Physically the side looked fit and were well organised. The full backs were excellent and the two attackers Mettam and Gash were a constant threat and defended from the front. A result that looked less comfortable than it was in reality against a fairly lively side who will finish at least in mid table. If Lynn can stay clear of injuries and keep a happy squad as everyone will eventually get there chance a play off place is within reach. It was good to see Setch at game it must be difficult for him after loosing his job it shows at heart he is a true supporter.

General Discussion / Last nights match
« on: September 14, 2016, 07:13:03 AM »
Went last night due to logistics first match I was able to attend this season. Although impressed with effort of players and there appears to be a good team spirit. Lynn did not look like scoring and there appears to be a lack of class and physical strength up front. Although I believe some of the better players are injured. Was impressed with new full back and always surprised at the number of Lynn fans at match. Although Biggleawade won 2 0 the score flattered them and I would be surprised if both teams finished near play off places.

West Ham were at home Saturday although with hindsight I wish I had of gone to Chesham as it is the only trip that can be done via London Underground albeit zone 9

General Discussion / Re: Shirt Sponsorship

I think one has to give the owner a chance and he does appear to have the clubs best interest at heart. However as every day passes without a sponsor or badly needed new players I am becoming a doubter and more sceptical

I concur
