Welcome!
Let's hope he's got a thick skin and some building skills there's plenty of bridges that need to be rebuilt

Are we waiting for the official end of the league season before announcing who's staying and going?
Hopefully we got our eye on the ball this time regarding recruitment and not waiting for what's left after everybody has recruited .
Several league 2 clubs have already announced their retained lists my other club Walsall have done so today they have released a few talented young lads from their academy.
Like to think we having a look at these released lists -but got a feeling we not and waiting for cheap leftovers

General Discussion / Re: Entertainment licence

It all becomes clear Now _the Walks doesn't have an entertainment licence that why there was a distinct lack of entertainment on the football field for the last two seasons 😂
On a serious note think one of the major problems with the Walks apart from the pitch is its in a residential area with a lack of parking, concert goers won't always be familiar with area and will want to park close to the arena with easy entry and exit, something with an out town location could offer. On the plus side The Walks being in the park is one of the most picturesque non league visited

General Discussion / Final Game of Season
« on: May 07, 2022, 08:02:54 PM »
Well i guess todays defeat was entirely predictable, how many times this season have the linnets gone into the lead, failed to press home that advantage, conceded and then lost or just held for a draw?

Failure throughout the season to score enough goals and dismal defending has brought it's reward.
Will be interesting now to see how the club restructures itself in the close season

I agree with Mallard.i think the club are in dire straits financially and lack of real assets on the playing side. Unfortunately I can see next season being a real struggle on the field and can only hope the club tries to reconnect with many disillusioned fans. The lack of communication and interaction with the fans has been shocking

Quite agree with Kenny if Cameron Kings problem is health related and not football related he has every right to privacy ,and hopefully he is being supported by the club.
Though it some stage somebody is going to have to make a decision as to whether he will play again,my guess it at the end of the season.
A fit Cameron King would have been a great asset this season he is a very talented lad.
Wish him all the best

Good win pity they couldn't play like this during the main part of the season or when the pressure was on towards the end. No pressure today but perhaps a few looking to enhance themselves in the end of the season shop window -or am I just a cynical old brummie

Totally agree need realistic pricing for the level of football being watched. Got to be honest i really fear for Kings Lynn Town next season going down must be a financial disaster for the club.Lets hope the player recruitment next season is better than the start of this season which with a couple of exceptions was abysmal. The club to me lost it's heart when local lads who would run through a brick wall for the club were replaced with mixture of no hopers ,never have beens and scape from other clubs tables most of which probably couldn't even find kings Lynn on a map

Feel sorry for the fans. I haven't been this season as was priced out of my usual seat by the lovely chairman at the start of the season. Really hope for the good of  the club he packs his bags otherwise the local derby will be against Heacham in a few seasons .
I wouldnt trust him to run a bath let alone a football club
