I sincerely hope Cleeve keeps all his advice and opinions to himself. In fact I'd rather he said nothing to anyone.
We'll be able to tell how much clout he still has when we hear the music played as the team comes out 😖

I'm glad to hear it was successful and I hope more offers for volunteers will come along in the future.

He has obviously located the famed 💷🌳🤫
But, in all honesty, I'm also concerned about the amount of money being thrown about, seemingly without end and with no obvious new income streams to offset it against 😏
Surely expenditure of this amount looks like we're trying to "buy" promotion. And we all know how that ends 😕
More pressure on the manager and players to "produce".
And we all know what happens to clubs when the owner doesn't get what he "paid" for and goes running off across the park, jumps on the first train to Heathrow and flies off into the distance 😫

When will these be issued, and if we have proof of purchase are they eligible for the Peterborough game on Friday.
I can't answer the first question, but I can't remember season tickets ever covering Friendlies 😕 It's a useful bit of cash for the start-up bills, plus there's been no mention of it in the media or in the tickets section on the club website. So I'm assuming the Friendlies aren't covered. Put it this way. Having bought my Friendly tickets online already, I will not be impressed by any changes happening now 🤬

the twittering thingy
Old School.
I think its Xing thingy these days.
We're a long way from having to wait for the newspaper 🗞️ to find out the results 📱 Makes me feel my age, I'm afraid 😞 Especially as I have to ask my eighty+ aged mum when I have computer issues 🙄 Embarrassing or what 😏

Hi yes I surpose there is room for a Surporters club if it is formed properly I can’t see why not and yes I would help with advice on how to avoid the pit falls that it involves
Maybe the funds from the old supporters club FOTL could start it? Never did hear where it went?

I wonder if Cleeve's hanging around hoping no one notices that he hasn't actually left 🫢
Or maybe he wants to be paid to go away 😁
I might still have an old thrupenny bit down the back of the sofa...or is that too much 😸
Just don't let him leave with the money 💷 🌲

I'm quite alarmed about this NDA thing.
It sounds like trying to climb up a greasy lamppost with one hand tied behind your back, blindfolded and singing Phantom of the Opera. In Latin. Backwards.
The whole raison d'etre of the Trust, and it's "selling point", has always been that they have elected board members and specific criteria for the use of the money raised.
But if you can't even tell your own members what's happening, I think it looks pretty poor.
Surely, once they knew about the prospect of an NDA, they should have called an emergency meeting for permission to act in the best interests of the Trust, and, only secondly, the club.
I'm unaware if the Trust directors already have such a mandate, of course.
And all this cloak and dagger stuff behind the scenes taints the excitement of having a great season in the making.
Good news only please 😺

Next thing you know the team will return to running out to The boys are back in town?
I thought exactly that myself a couple of days ago Gris 🥲 Now that the team has a hint of nostalgia about it, a bit of musical nostalgia would be most appropriate as well 🎶 🎶 But whatever the music, I sincerely hope it's not that dreadful racket that Cleeve had played 😉🙄

Whilst I understand that supporters in a certain group of "as and when" are disappointed, I urge them to look at the bigger picture.
There were times in the last season when we thought the club would be lost to us completely.
No coherent messages from the owner and very little information being disseminated by the club as a whole made it an anxious time for us all.
But a lot of positive work has been going on in the background and a lot of big money has been spent by Joe/Bal et al in order to get us to this point.
We have a club, a season and arguably a fresh start.
I think we should be grateful for that and I can't wait to see what happens next.

"FCUK is a well known brand name, owed by French Connection, UK."
I know of the company, B&G. I'm not that old, you know 🙄
But I still stand by using decent language on the forum that we wouldn't mind our grandchildren reading 🙂
