Whilst I understand that supporters in a certain group of "as and when" are disappointed, I urge them to look at the bigger picture.

There were times in the last season when we thought the club would be lost to us completely.

No coherent messages from the owner and very little information being disseminated by the club as a whole made it an anxious time for us all.

But a lot of positive work has been going on in the background and a lot of big money has been spent by Joe/Bal et al in order to get us to this point.

We have a club, a season and arguably a fresh start.

I think we should be grateful for that and I can't wait to see what happens next.

"FCUK is a well known brand name, owed by French Connection, UK."

I know of the company, B&G. I'm not that old, you know 🙄

But I still stand by using decent language on the forum that we wouldn't mind our grandchildren reading 🙂

"I couldn't give a ufck who's in charge as long as they have their heart in  KLFC and what the future holds for MY club."

Oh dear 1505 what a horrible attitude, very shortsighted and just plain wrong 🤐

I've been taken to task by a good friend on more than one occasion for saying that as long as I get my football, I don't care how that happens 😔

Indeed I've said it before on this forum. But seeing your full statement 1505 is like having a mirror in front of my face. And I don't like what I see reflected back at me. I don't like it at all.

It's absolutely impossible to divorce the front and back of house when it comes to a sustainable and sound future for the club.

And surely we have to look a long way back in time to see when things were more stable, with good comradeship both within the club and outside in the community.

There are many people within the club and wider community with great fundraising ideas, but no one seems willing or able to take them forward. Hopefully that's going to change with the new regime.

It's about time we started bringing in money from the wider community, rather than trying to squeeze the fans with various begging appeals, without us ever knowing how much is raised and still less where the money went 💷👖

So I'm not going to come out with crass statements about not caring what happens back of house. I'm reformed. And I suggest you find a mirror 1505. You might not like what you see either.

On a housekeeping point, would people please refrain from using the f word, however you spell it, because many youngsters read this forum. And it also offends others. Thanks 🙂

So sad to hear of Keith's passing. He was a gentleman indeed and I can't think of anything about KLFC that he didn't know. Always keen to get stuck in. Bless you and your family.

I don't understand why we would ask him to join us, only to then sell him on.

I get that we would probably receive a payment, but we're then short a player again.

And it seems very shortsighted to me, leading to another search to replace him.

I have never understood this concept of "improve and sell" and I feel that this is a great way to improve our chances of promotion... not 🙂‍↔️

Gold ? Again ? Really ? 🙄

I openly confess to having him as my number one whipping boy soon after we signed him. He clearly had talent, but often lacked the desire to "perform"😕

I was pleased when he left. And very disappointed when we brought him back again.

Whilst I recognise that his style of play needs an efficient supply of balls, he can at least look interested and make a positive impact while "waiting" for the "right" ball ⚽

Let's just hope JR can make something effective and efficient out of him, otherwise we'll see another lazy and disinterested performance.

Perhaps we could have him on sale or return 🤭

Is this his obituary ? Certainly sounds like it, or do you all know something I don't ?

My latest understanding is that he's not going anywhere.

And short of taking away his ability use social media, I think it's shortsighted to think he'll go about his new duties (whatever they may be) in a calm, quiet and responsible manner.

As far as how one remembers his "stewardship", for me it's a mixed bag.

No one can say that he hasn't put his money where his mouth is.

There has been some amazing... and horrendous football. Times of ecstasy... and of devastation. Pride in our achievements... and embarrassment in our failings.

But in my opinion, overall I feel that during his tenure Mr Cleeve has done more good than bad.

And he has given me my football.

And the drama continues 😏

As I've said previously, this course is the one that gives me the most hope going forward 😺

My only concern is that Cleeve just won't be able to restrict himself to his new job or control himself regarding the tone and content of his media use 🤫

After all, he didn't manage to last very long when he was asked to do so during the latter part of last season 🤐

It will be interesting to see what his new job  actually involves 🤔

And I do wonder why he's being allowed to continue having a role in the club at all. I believe that he is now a liability, rather than an asset going forward.

But I'm happy to be proved wrong 😁

Now I'm not often lost for words.........but this farce playing out around our beloved club would never be believed as a storyline in a soap 😏 And that's saying something.

It's just a lot of static making no sense at all 🤫

I grasp at one straw only to see it disappear in my hand. When the next straw comes towards me I try to get a better grip, but without success.

I have little hope left in Cleeve and his alternate universe and have come to the realisation that he believes everything he says to be true.

It's the only logical conclusion I can come to.

The almost deal between TSI etc. and the Trust gave me the hope of a new beginning. And now I don't know what to think.

There's unlikely to be anyone else out there who's prepared to put in the time and money that Jo has put in. Especially if that money has been squandered and probably lost.

Once again I fear for our club 😔

We haven't had good enough forwards and just because we are full time doesn't mean we will beat a semi pro team. We are not ready for National League, on or off the pitch.
Let's strengthen where needed and go again next season.

Hi John H. I absolutely agree with your post. You've hit the nail on the head.

And after everything that has happened both on and off the pitch this season, I can see no point in us staying full time.

Presumably that would be less expensive, and might make the future of the club a little more viable.

Yes, I guess it is Mallard. I just have a really bad feeling that the next season's financing possibilities all depended on us securing promotion.

I don't believe in Cleeve's £300k investor all ready to hand over their cash.

And I don't see why Jo would continue throwing good money after bad.

I'm concerned by rumours  that Cleeve  didn't adhere to certain limitations on the "tone" of his use of media...

And that certain bills similar to those which lost us the club last time are allegedly unpaid...

Well I'm a realist, not an optimist. Nor a pessimist.

But if it looks like a 🦆 and sounds like a 🦆...odds are that it's a blasted 🦆
