General Discussion / Re: Points shared on the road.

I would think with JR's qualifications, he should be operating at league 1 or Championship level as a coach or maybe manager. But for whatever reasons he's at our level on maybe 50 k a year so life is not all bad . As a Lynn fan for over 50 years, we find ourselves in a decent league competing with ex league teams who don't want to be in this league . Check out Chester's fans forum. I would imagine some Wrexham fans will be moaning if they don't get promoted. Supporters always want more . That's how it is . Let's enjoy the Linnets and remember where we came from .

Dilly, IMHO Marriott is no where near the player he was 6 years ago. Like us all time has caught up with him. Now all the hype has settled down, I think we are a mid table team at best .

Despite the madness on Tuesday night . 3 at the back no midfield 7 up front I thought Chapman looked comfortable in all aspects of his play. Therefore I'd keep him between the sticks.

Decent attendance. 100 mph frantic football with a lack of quality in the final third against a well organised Kidderminster side . Credit to our players who kept going to the end .

Excellent response to Mondays result. Caught Merthyr cold after their disrupted journey. A lot to be said for staying overnight before the match.  Only downside JR sending off when the game was already comfortably won . Bring on Kiddy on Tuesday.

Mallard . I didn't say a hit merchant. Any team needs physicality.  Despite what Dilly thinks lol . You can't play without the ball .

Clunan is a neat and tidy footballer . He will take the ball in awkward positions on what is a challenging pitch at times, so fair play to him. What Lynn have lacked for a number of years is a tough tackling ball playing no 6 who drives the team on . Stereotypical bald tattooed ratter in midfield who does the dirty side of the game and is happy to service the ball players in the team . Most Northern teams have one . As for our manager don't blame the officials. Not a smart move ...

Lots of energy, lacking the clinical touch in the opposition penalty box . Darlo defended well throwing their bodies on the line so credit to them . Tough game in 48 hours at Chorley awaits . Good luck to all ....

Sports got battered by Posh earlier this week . So Part time v full time? I would suggest that a 20 yr old at Sports who lives with his Parents on £600 pw wouldn't need to do anything else . Trains two evenings a week  and plays on a Saturday. Nice if you can get it . Full time at the walks . Training available four days per week playing on a Saturday for maybe £900 per week . Who's got the better deal ????
