General Discussion / Re: Where’s Kyle

Cmon B and G  its becoming once again a bit boring you obviously have some gossip which makes you think McFadden is leaving and want someone to confirm he is staying so you can go all cryptic.

The reality is that only the management know and thats how it should be until they say otherwise. Players are people and their future is a personnel matter not for fans to decide on a forum.

Also Mal I think you will find if you read all the previous information that is out there that Cleeve hasnt been given a position in the new ownership but being allowed to pursue a commercial initiative himself that he had been developing. This may or may not happen who knows with Cleeve but I hear that he is a seriously bitter about his demise and blaming everyone but himself.

All interesting stuff Blueboy and whilst your source maybe " good " perhaps the sources intentions are not. Seems like you may have be speaking to a previous owner called Stephen who would love to rock the boat especially with all the positive stuff coming out of the Club at the moment. Maybe we should at least give the new manager and owners the opportunity to see what they can achieve and not get dragged back into the failure and lies of the old regime.

Just been suspended from National League for financial issues. Tough choices being a fan these days to keep your Club alive.

Marcus if you would still like to see the address the letter was sent to Im told its easy to find out. All you need to do is go on the website for DCMS and check the disclosure log in relation to any previous enquiry regarding the same subject. Will tell you all you need to know. The weird thing is the information about the loan was already out there so can only assume it was an attempt to muddy the waters. Maybe the person behind the whole thing would like to step forward and explain what the purpose of it all was but then again they probably wont.

It seems to me that whatever the thread starts off discussing it gets hijacked by the same people to the subject they want to continually harp on about. Totally agree if you want to keep banging on about the new ownership or the trust then start a new thread. Its becoming boring and if you started the thread with ownership or trust a lot of people wouldnt bother to read the same misinformation .

Was a good game played at high pace will Lynn competitive a very good runout for the players. Didnt hear the official attendance but easily 1100 with everyone buzzing about the team and the how the new owners have already lifted the negativity that accompanied the last few years of Cleeve. Talking about Cleeve he was sitting in a corner of the stand far away from Directors box first half and seemed to disappear in the second half bye bye Stephen.
Whilst a few people on here dont seem to want the Club to move forward pointing out things that are a fantasy apparently 2 weeks ago the new owners only wanted the trusts money of £95000 before a swift exit and now its £31000 and no mention of a smash and grab by Joe.
Its been a difficult few years with bad decisions made by Cleeve which he could not afford and having spent all the Covid loan money he then had to desperately look for a new investor to avoid the Club folding. Im sure like me fans want the club to play at the highest level with good financial management. Cleeve was given years before we realised it was a house of cards so maybe time to welcome Joe and trust that he will do the right thing by the Club.

B and G have you ever read the Trusts objectives on the home page seems to me they are doing there best to achieve them. What would you expect them to do in the current situation and when would you like them to be involved in the Club as easy to say you would like this to be achieved but no suggestions as to how.

Can that be right ? Who agreed to spend the Friends money on a large screen TV after the supporters club had folded. So who is holding the money left and what is his role ? Lots of questions and vey few answers.

The mythical friends of the linnets money !!!! The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is more likely to be found. I think we need more proof of this monies existence because there certainly hasnt been any sign of it for the last 2 years. Also how would Bal know anything about it as the friends were wound up long before his involvement with the Club. Maybe in some peoples eyes Bal has mythical powers or alternatively Malcolm could tell him.

Although i'm no expert on all the financial matters being discussed primarily by one or two posters isnt it about time the alternatives are considered without TSI involvement. The Trust would not be in a position to take on the Club with all the debt that would come with it even if they had the money would they want to or have the expertise to run it on their own. So naysayers lets have some workable alternatives or I guess you would rather the Club go bust and start as a phoenix Club again.
