Firstly I'd like to say this small minority of the supporters should be banned for live. I believe we should all be calling this behaviour out if we hear or see it.

A little banter between supporters or saying to the lineman's that he should have gone to Specsavers is OK, but it should never go further than this.

With regards to stadium development I have looked into this before, but have done (well asked AI) some research into this today. I'd love to see the ground developed more but costs are high for seating rather than standing. I could bore you will everything AI had reported back on (I did supply it with quite a bit of info) but the headline costs for the North Stand are listed below.

Quick capacity & cost sketch (order-of-magnitude)

1,600 seats (8 rows across ~100 m):
Basic new stand: £2.4m–£4.8m
With under-croft facilities: £4.8m–£8m

2,000 seats (10 rows):
Basic new stand: £3.0m–£6.0m
With under-croft facilities: £6.0m–£10m

I was at the game yesterday. Yes we should have had more, but a wins a win.

Hereford didn't look great and I do feel a little sorry for there supporters - I don't think they'll be seeing much good football this season - from there team at least. But they do have very good support - even if quite a few did exit the ground after we scored our second.

A really good team effort from us and so early in the season - must be doing some really good work in training.

Away to Spennymoor Tuesday night (I won't be able to make that one, but will listen in of course) which will be another test, but the players we have and they way they are playing together it's a winnable game!

I'd seen on the homepage "Fans, on the Bucks' forum, have expressed concern of the club's defensive abilities going into the new season."

So surely we can take advantage of that. Yes 5-0 is optimistic, but I've always been a glass half full guy. Again from the homepage "The last time a Telford team won a league game at The Walks was in
September 1967!"

Gate: 1200 - holiday season, but there has been a lot of promotion on social media - so hoping for more
Result: 5-0 - I'm expecting a very attacking team right from the start and wouldn't be shocked if we're 4 up by halftime.

Just off Tenny Avenue, past the turnstiles.
:laughcry:
:thanks:

Sorry mate, worded that badly. I meant where on the website is that info? Still recieved nothing saying how to collect.

This page with info for the last game https://www.kltown.co.uk/2025/08/01/matchday-guide-spalding-united-h/

Said "Physical season tickets HAVE now arrived and they will be available for collection when the box office opens at around 1.30pm."

I'm sure they'll have the same thing in place for this coming Saturday's game - as I got the Adult+ season ticket they said the drinks tokens aren't available until this Saturday's game

Yes Gold would make the bench. In some cases I would have him start - as I'm sure we'll see over the course of the season.

Spiv/Paul as you both have watched a lot ( if not all) of pre season with all the new names signed.  If the season started tomorrow what would be your starting 11 ?

Chadwick
Hall-Johnson
Fleming
Wilson
Clements
Collins
Clunan
Crane
Marriott
Nyahwema
Gyasi

Good choices, but I've liked the look of Maja - maybe not seen enough of him to say defo in starting 11
Williams would be in my 11, but looking at Pauls list who would I drop to the bench - maybe Nyahwema

I was chatting at the Stamford game last night about away games and which was the furthest (distance or time). South Shields was the answer from most, but I thought Merthyr would have been further.

So today I've compiled a list of all our away games this season with postcodes of the grounds, time and distance - of course these times and distances can be different depending on traffic or getting diverted for roadworks / accidents or stopping for food etc.

Tue Aug 19: Spennymoor Town (DL16 6JN) – 193 miles, approx. 3h 45m drive

I've been to all the pre season games and for me Theo has been one of the top performers. I'd be more than happy for him to be in the starting line up.

Their Facebook page is quite active, but again no mention of price just pay on gate. So I'll just pay whatever it is when I turn up.

https://www.facebook.com/fakenhamtownfc

And just seen here

https://www.kltown.co.uk/2025/07/04/preview-fakenham/

Tickets for the game will be "pay on the gate" using the pricing structure below:

Adult: £9
Concession: £5
U16: £5
