All these systems...  442, 433, 451, 4231, etc....  they only work on a Subbuteo table !  Unlike plastic men, humans can move, so whatever they start at, as soon as the other team gets the ball it’s 10-0, or 9-1....  Then the other team get the ball and it’s all change again !!  Quick slippery players is all that’s needed with a couple of links at the back.  Top teams don’t even have a “Holding” player or a “Number Ten”, only those they call one....!  The most slippery teM will win the play-offs, like last year, and we need to have it by then.....
We are a top team and we have one.

There was someone on the match feed saying we don't need Gash every game.I think today and the early part of the season when he was injured and we could barely scrape a win proves him and any other doubters wrong. His work rate and physical presence not to mention ability on the ball are going to be missed by any team at our level.

You're entitled to disagree LSL Its all about opinion.
I am not the only one , he is called "clueless", by others  in the part of the stand where I sit.
Last season is last season He's not doing it this year
He may be not doing it as consistently this year but you stated he has been found out at this level.A level he has been playing at to a good standard for several seasons.I guarantee that his name is one of the first on Culverhouses team sheet week in week out.

Exactly Mac Can't argue with much of that Most of it spot on but I thought Fryatt was amongst our better players yesterday.
Think it could be the last season for Jarvis I think he is beginning to show signs of age and a long hard working career Had a great season last year but not as good this one.
I believe Clunan has been found out a bit at this level and again the easy back pass is normal for many
We even said yesterday FBT has strong claims for Player of the Year already
I disagree.Thought our back four were far to easily bypassed yesterday with long straight balls.I also think Jarvis has been outstanding over the Xmas period and looks after the ball so well.Last season everyone was saying Clunan was badly missed in the play off final, now he's found out at this level.I wonder about some people.

We tried to accommodate the new lad but it didn't work although he looks a useful player. As soon as Jones went to full back our play improved.

:farmer: Well, 3 well deserved points, the run kept going and a basting for Lowestoft thrown in, we deffo owed them that one. Sad about the attendance today, however I do feel that the price is a definite reason for many fans not attending the walks anymore. We are a well supported club at this level of football, but I believe we could perhaps attract another 100 or so fans if the price was lower. We can all fill stadiums for special matches but it is the bread and butter games week in week out where we need the support.

Lol.If anyone believes that was the real attendance then they don't go very much.It wasn't a large attendance but bigger than was given for sure.

Yer first half was a midfield battle with not a lot created against a very well organised and physically strong side. But second half things opened up and after going behind we dug in and scored two great goals. The second in particular was a lovely goal.Hopefully the heavy pitch won't have sapped too much energy for Wednesday especially when Lowestoft didn't play.

Wouldn't make any difference to me and I doubt it would for many others. An offer of a reduction for new year game if you attend the boxing day game might work though.

It's the here and now that matters. We are challenging for a playoff place which we were nowhere near after the Stourbridge defeat.

I was at the game and if you were a neutral you would have thought it was a cracking game. But from the Lynn point of view we were all over the place at the back in the first 20 mins but we still created clear cut chances with Gash unlucky hitting the post and Henderson missing an absolute sitter.Coalville looked dangerous every time they went forward but to be fair to Lynn even at 3-1 they kept playing and scored two good goals,Clunans in particular.A draw was a fair result and a good point.

Groundsman is doing fine job.Been lashing down all day so pointless cutting the pitch up for a youth game.

Just watched highlights of the game and we've battered them for the large majority of this game and their manager was full of praise for us and says we deserved the 3 points.Unfortunately Mcauley didn't head clear when it really mattered and their centre forward scuffed a weak shot home. But once again we have not been clinical and killed the game.

The only two players willing to take the ball into the box are Hawkins and Blake-Tracy. However, they need backing up by someone coming up behind them to support and two in the box to receive the cross. The other wing needs to be ready to receive the over-hit ball or clearance.

I have always thought we were lacking in covering the overhit balls?

Bedworth's goal was from a long throw that squirted out and fell for a player waiting on the far side and ........... GOAL! - Simples!
That wasn't over hit.It was in the box.As stated,if the crosses are accurate then you don't need someone waiting for a poorly over hit cross.

In More modern times  Defty and Bloomfield were a decent partnership.  Having the big man up top was more an outlet to be used when needed and not a real out and out  game plan.   That's always the temptation when you have a big man up top, as in its an easy out ball.
Defty and Nolan was more fruitful goal wise and won us promotion.

Absolutely. With King the attack would be very similar to the Ready,Coupe and Twigger era.Pace power and guile.
