General Discussion / ESL
« on: April 20, 2021, 12:24:20 PM »
just  a thought if the ESL went ahead and the 6 English clubs get booted out  of the Premiership

would 6 clubs move up from The National League  to fill the void  left by them.

it would have been interesting if we had a full squad in a normal season  to see if we could have finished top 6

the problem we have with selling players  clubs with money know our financial position and they buy them on the cheap
and  I assume most players are on a season by season   contract which  they can walk away from at the end of the season.
Not a great situation to be in but it is what it is - the chairman is only trying to make ends meet.
as for next season I imagine the average attendance will be somewhere around 1500. Come September when the furlough scheme ends I can see lots of people being made unemployed and they wont have the money to pay for the luxury of watching football.

You never know  a 1 - 0  win  for us with a breakaway goal

3rd Round tie at Home to   Liverpool   with us in Tier 1 and 4000 in the ground

wonder  how they would  cope on our pitch  and crowd

Living the dream

I wonder what the split of this money  will be ???  equally between all the clubs or will you have to prove  the wages bill  to get it

in which case the split may not be equal  lets hope it is
