General Discussion / Re: National League North 2019/20 title odds
« on: June 04, 2019, 02:54:22 PM »
most odds seem a bit short to me  100 to 1 would be about right for us I would have thought

at 100/1  would have a tenner  but not at 25/1

for me I remember those goals that got us to where we are now  winning the previous league  and a great night that was  a  Shane Tolley   header and this Time Micheal Gash in the play off final  both bits of magic just when we needed
it so they would be my two choices .

Griss for me I go to watch a game of football and hopecupon hope to be entertained after the game I have little to no interest in getting a pint. More for me driving the 90 mins home to get an evening meal.
It seems this bar and beer scenario is becoming an obsession with you.  I would suggest for some people a pint at game is not a necessity.  Maybe I’m alone on this ?
well that's two of us mallard

£12 may be   but 3 of there last four attendances were in excess of 3500 at £12 = £42000

there crowds are a lot bigger than us  so you cant compare

Hi Jesus  that was just my point anything less than the £20 even at £18 that would decrease the income to  £14400 or £7200  per week and that is even more income to find via other things like  merchandise food etc
I personally think the club will be walking a  financial tight rope and we cant expect the chairman to keep putting money in even he hasn't a bottomless wallet

if we say 800 fans per home game even at £20 = £16000 -  a home game every 2 week therefore £8000 per week to run the club  say 16 players on £200 bet some are on more  = £3200 plus the manager trainers etc  floodlights training expenses rates and all the other bills  plus bar staff ticket office  I bet  we still make a loss and this is all propped up the chairman I think people need to have a think how much it actually  costs to run the club at our level.
Imagine if we got promoted to the football league what that would cost it doesn't bear thinking about  this is just my opinion

That attendance could happen anyway wether the price stayed the same as this season the only guarantee for attendance is season ticket sales. I think the chairman is going to have a massive job to make the books balance next season so the only way is to increase admission in my opinion

In my opinion I think it will be £17or £18 next season  the expenses will be a lot more next season the referee and linesman will cost more as they will be a higher grade travel will be more  so I donít think we can run a club like ours at this seasons prices so we will just have to wait and see
