General Discussion / Re: Hereford sack Peter Beadle!
« on: September 13, 2018, 02:55:17 PM »
why would anyone want to be a manager in semi professional football

we sacked our manager for not being good enough and they sack there's for 3 promotions and that's deemed not good enough

absolutely staggering

Totally agree  Mallard your second from last Line is a million percent spot on

Eastleigh is another example of how to spend money and still be in the conference

when you look at the conference how many teams have played in the football league   I cant remember exactly

how long a go 2 or 3 seasons I think m Orient nearly made the championship now in the conference

looking at the league its going to be a very tough season for all the teams in it  I always reserve judgement until
10 games have been played and lets see where we are , and then that leaves 32 to get us where we need to be
after 2 games  we have probably played two teams who will be in the mix at the end of the season  if we had played Hitchen   and Redditch and won both of them  easily   we wouldn't even be having this chat  and everybody would be saying we are going to win the league . This League will be full of surprises and IMO you could make a case for any team getting promoted or relegated.

Macauley looked good  but for  best player on the pitch was the Spalding keeper  kept the score down to just two

with some great saves.  If we hope to progress this season we need to take these chances

You may be right that they earn more but by the time they have paid there travelling expenses  and tax  there  wont be that much left but something is better than nothing.
Also  from the amount of teams in local football packing up for one reason or another  the  amount of  good players about for clubs like ours to sign  gets less and less  and when a decent local player is found unless he is guaranteed to play he soon departs  and we as a club cant have to many paid players sitting on the bench.

Agree there is plenty  of time  as I have said before until we know where we definetley know which league  I cant see much happening. Also the season is far to long in my opinion,  players do have lives  outside football and a 6 week
break is not enough , hence why players are that interested at present in signing as its only part time and not a  full time job.

Possibly mallard  -  I travelled to several games when in the northern section  like belper  matlock  buxton  etc

and from Norwich they are about a 160 each way  so a 320 round trip  for 90 mins of football unless you are on the

bench so less game time. also  a whole day  game finishes at 5pm leave ground 6pm  home 10pm

this is my opinion and with the price of fuel  as well

if I was a potential  signing for Lynn I would want to see which league they were going to be in before committing to next season . also some of the players who have left  or may leave might be doing the same, and all of this is not
Lynn's fault  so I will wait and see

I wont expect to see any signings until we know  for a  100% certain which league we are in

then we can get the players in . players wont want to sign if the live say 50 miles south of Lynn then have to travel 100 miles +  north of Lynn  for a game.

in my opinion  if you did that  and these showed what I would imagine  is A loss the Fans  might  be a lot more sympathetic

Rather than  Jumping on every error and cruifying him  .  how many fans  would part  with  £230 k  to get back £153

just to amuse  700 people on a Saturday  -    answer none

if you take these figure they show a £77 k loss  cant believe that anybody can stick that   no matter how deep your pockets are
