General Discussion / Re: 2018/19 Entry & Season Tickets Prices

I would also think the referee fees are on the low side  believe they get 100 plus per game and mileage At 45p per mile
and the linesman do as well  plus a forth official .

With petrol and diesel prices on the increase 1.31 a litre I paid this morning is 6 a gallon and if this increases much more

I will knock a few games on the head - not through choice but financial reality

Well the bottom line is he is the new  manager like it or not - I don't think we will see any signings till the end of June start of July as players wont commit  in case a better offer comes along so we will just have to go along with it all, and just talk about what we would do if were the manager. at this present time we don't even know what league we will be  never dull at Lynn is it .

reading the above from Nemisis if all the players received  a P45  we have technically  got no players and everybody is then free to sign for which ever club that shows an interest  am I correct in this assumption,

Totally agree - Weymouth are the one team we don't want to face in any playoff game

Nope -  I personally cant see why they don't use a neutral venue for a playoff final  like they do in the football league

St Neots would be a good pitch  or even Carrow Road  or any where else come to that

Slough for me in the semi's    then a final against  Kettering on a decent pitch

Managers come and go all the time these days so I am not that worried about that, what does concern me is if we
win the playoff's  and the manager then  leaves and takes  a few players with him and I have no doubt some players  can perform at higher level which he may go to , what a position for a new manger to find them self's in,
at a New club, a  New league and  less players and what sort of budget would he get to recruit new players .
Let's hope the chairman has all this factored in, assuming that we win the play off's

General Discussion / Re: Pitch?
« on: April 13, 2018, 08:05:58 AM »
I totally agree with the above three post's  even Grissles however much some disagree with him is spot on -  Dig the thing up and sort it out  just like Norwich are going to do and they have also said there will be no pre season friendlies  next season.
Also would our pitch in it's current state allow us to get promoted to the next level ??.

The boys did very well last night to get three points and  I can see potentially  4 teams getting over 100 points this season

and the possibility of 3 of them being in this league next season which I think would be a farce .

Assume that the game is still on tonight -   bet the pitch is still very waterlogged after all the rain  we have had

anybody throw any light  on it and is there a pitch inspection
