General Discussion / Re: Another Great passes

Another great player gone, I always remember a story Marsh told when playing for England when Ramsey  shouted to him in a training match that if he didnt work harder  he would "pull him off at halftime" to which Marsh replied, "lovely, at QPR we only get an orange", needless to say, he never played for England again.

Dilly is right, we have made little or no progress in recent months, its great to pick up points on the road, but when we do move up the league its mainly  because results have gone for us elsewhere.
As for the football , its awful , why we sign forwards for, I dont know , they get little or no service.
Also dont believe everything you read about what goes on behind the scenes , and overseas for that matter.

The club does very little to encouragqe our young  talent . Ask our manager why some of our best young  players are
not  allowed to train with the first team?

General Discussion / Re: Hughes next to go?

Just catching up with the latest posts and after Tuesday  night sh-- show I have to agree about  Tommy Hughes, a very good footballer who tries to make  things happen.   Why didn't he start? AL new how Cuzon would play, after  all he has told us many times that  it's the team he made.

Never thought i would say this, but we offered nothing, but big boot up the field. Looking at the end of the game, i get the impression we are down and out.

On the home page it's saying that Radio  Norfolk  is broadcasting  the Lynn match. Not true, they are doing the mighty Wroxham!!! What's going on  with that station?

The Main Website is advertising tickets for our next home match,Spennymoor, click on the page and it says no on line tickets on sale.Anybody know why? The next tuesday home match against Scunthorpe
which is Tuesday the 14th, should be well supported as they took  nearly 600 to Boston last night, 1-1 draw.

560,  The  new  man has  yet to impress me.  When we start getting points against top teams,  I may change my opinion. Should win tonight.

I see Mr Hughes is making a quick return to the Walks tonight. Mind you if it keeps raining it will be off I think.

Sad day,  I was at Stamford Bridge August 1971, Utd  won 3-2 (even with Best sent off in the first half),  Kidd , Morgan, and a Sir Bobby Special , for utd,   Bladwin, Osgood for the blues. Not a Utd fan, but proud to say I have seen Sir Bobby play. One of the best 10 bobs I have ever spent.

Can I just say that i have known GC for 60 years , and he is one of the most trustworthy men you would ever meet. With reference to SC, I dont know him hardly at all. But he does need to improve his skills on they way he goes about things. Ask an Australian!

Averly promoted this season, they may be punching above their weight but the results are impressive. Gates are up 28%, they average 520 for home matches , considering they are not far away from bigger clubs in East London is good.   Will be a proper test.
