Bradford PA are predicting Lynn and York both promoted, many National clubs can not afford to have there players Covid tested after every play off game, at 125 a test, if you have 30 - 40 players, no income, wages to pay, I have to say I agree with that statement.

We have not taken any notice of what's going on around us. Clubs are or will be going under, Many have over spent, has not time come when sensible wages need to be paid, and not success at all costs?

I started this post 2 months ago, now well over 220 reply posts, are we any the wiser. We have let good players go, we have signed players, and not for the first time the begging bowl is out again, the pitch has been dug up, at great cost, but what league are we in? Please sort this week, the pain is unbearable!

I started this post on April 11th, 54 replies later, and we are still no nearer to finding out what our fate will be. This seems to also be the case for the Premier League and others. This is now a farce, and I will be surprised if one or two big name clubs end up going to the wall.

Having listened to the podcast, its clear that our owner fully understands the running of a non league club, it was interesting to hear his reasons for the signing of Brown from Buxton. It is more of an investment, which by the sound of it, is a very good deal. If some of you get the chance watch Sunderland till I Die, its on Netflix, and you can see the pitfalls of running a big club, and the problems with agents. The problems are the same which ever standard you are at, only on a bigger scale.

It's the big vote next week, only 4 clubs allowed to vote from our league, that's not fair, all 24 of the high league voting, a certain Mr Barwick to thank. Do you think that is right, what do you think.

Some valid points raised here, I gave a 3 figure donation to the other appeal, is that money going to be added to the "Just Giving Page"?
Just a simple yes or no will do.

Well done to the club, for ejecting this bigot. He should be named, prosecuted, and banned for life. I hope the club contacts the player concerned and gives him and his club apologies.

General Discussion / Re: End of Season Black tie dinner.
« on: March 07, 2020, 11:35:21 AM »
Big story in the Mail Today, no more than 500 at a sport gathering, its yet to be past, and the longer they continue talking about it the season will be over. Should it happen sooner, we are finished.   With regards to the black tie dinner, it is a lot of money to anyone, supporters and potential sponsors alike. The virus is affecting all walks of life, markets are falling, travel and all forms of entertainment and that's including hospitality,  At the present climate no one wants to shell out 130.
