BUXTON UPDATE: Further to the current and continuing poor weather conditions, after consulting with the match referee and Buxton FC, with approval from the League, we have arranged for a local referee  to carry out an early pitch inspection today at 4.00pm.

It's a new ground now.
Best buying your tickets online, on the official site. All in one area I believe.

He's not the nimblest, but even if he was, he'd find it difficult to get on to his own knock downs.
Needs someone up with him, seen it many times this season.

He had enough available to pick a team that could pin back and beat a team at the bottom.  He chose a line-up that had no chance of dominating the game.  We always do worse than usual with a line-up like that. I’m afraid a disappointing night was very predictable.

Always predictable after the game...

The National League will allow clubs to amend kick-off times on Saturday 10 December should both clubs agree.

Free admission for under 12's might be worth looking at.
Would make a big difference to any families considering attending.

The stevenage game was a one off.
Everyone was talking about it, the biggest game for years, not many would have not realised the ko time.  With so much football on telly,  the world Cup, and the match not getting anywhere near the build up there was for stevenage one, people could have overlooked the ko time.
I know of some that did.

I think kick-off time put quite a few off yesterday.
And some had forgotten it was early ko.

Aren't going great in their league, but I expect them to avoid relegation.
Isn't that the first aim?
Strange decision by the club.
Probably be at Boston soon!

General Discussion / Re: Lynn go out of the FA Cup......

I don't agree with the criticism of Gold.
First half was very even, could have had a penalty when he seemed to be held in the box.
Pre match, and up until half time, I genuinely thought we might get a good result in the game.  Stevenage came out a different team second half, and blew us away in a few short minutes.
ANY team that happened to, heads would drop, and that was certainly the case with Lynn.  Gold was pretty isolated up front, and our passing game seemed to have gone out the window.  A poor second half all round, but I  blame Stevenage, for unsportingly killing off the game!
Still proud of the team, we're going pretty well this season, and hopefully back at it Saturday.
