General Discussion / Re: Could be 1000 allowed in on opening day

Yes, I agree with that.
But everyone has to be sensible.
You can go grouse hunting, or banger racing, but not to some football matches.
There is no consistency in all of this.
The government is mostly to blame, but so are some individuals that refuse to follow the rules.

.................and then when you get someone asking people if they are jealous because they are at the game when others are not!   :banghead;

Yes, it's just jealousy...🙄

I think he means at the level the reserves are, they COULD have a crowd in if they were playing at The Walks.

Will the Club be announcing that this now not be happening this year and the reasons why ?  I thought this was a bright new tomorrow for the Club.  It does seem we are making a habit of these false dawns.

Are we still waiting for the big announcement that will put Kings Lynn on the map? Just wondered if its already happened but I'd missed it.   :dontknow:

Is it being live streamed (including bottle of water) for say 60p :laughcry:

Try...

The newly-formed @officialKLtown Under-12s side start their Junior Premier League season tomorrow against Peterborough Sports. Kick off is 10.30am at West Lynn Sports and Social Club. Get down and have a look at the club's future talent.

15 quid with an online programme Thrown in.  sounds a great deal.

But it has to be done well.
The friendly games should be streamed free, so everyone can get used to it.
Then a fee, when the season starts.

Still plenty of comments on the other Facebook group.
We allow differing opinions.

What's putting them off sponsoring the first team, in some way?
They used to.

B&G I was somewhat baffled by your response. With that I rushed next door to our neighbour who is a IT Expert. He was able to explain the situation immediately, you have what is commonly known as the keyboard zero glitch. This is when, for example a biscuit crumb or other foreign body falls through the keyboard buttons  and makes contact with the circuit board, therefore adding a zero to any number entered. I know this must be true as when I was able to see the linnets on one of my rare visits to the walks I was sat behind WestLynnMike. Whilst making a post on the match blog on the trust page I heard him say F**  and shaking his tablet to dislodge a crumb that had fallen from his pasty. If you still have any problems please let me know. Up the linnets :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

They do Pasties at the Walks?

You sure it wasn't a crumb from a packet of Walkers Crisps?   :farmer:

I hope he wasn't smuggling in contraband snacks!🤔

But with only 30% of capacity permitted to attend at least you would be assured of getting a ticket.   Has to have a value

Be interesting to see the take up.
There is a clamour every season for season tickets at Carrow Road because of  the scarcity of match day tickets...which season ticket holders also often have first dibs on fortheir family and friends..
If Lynn' s attendance is limited to 1500-1600 withno away support, will there be afrenzy over the remaining tickets ?

For me, atravelling fan so no alcohol on match day, already have my Lynn scarf, who manages  6-8 home games at most.per season, the 35 scheme doesn't appeal, but then it isn't aimed at the likes of me anyway. But looking at it for more regular attendees, I still don't see it as a well balanced scheme.

I seldom miss a home game, and don't drink alcohol.
Where is the incentive to give away 35?
Mr. C always appears to be looking for something for nothing.

Just like to add my opinion on the matter,

Id go as far to say 80 - 90% of the behind the scene staff, St john's and the stewarding team are volunteers. Many of them put more hours in for free, that's right completely free, than many people actually work in a week. I avoid this forum for many reasons however one of the main ones is due to the constant drivel a few people speak. Constant moaning and whinging, the club cant do right from wrong. If people supported the club as much as they moan then it would be a miracle.
:worship:

So you come on this forum, just to a moan and a whinge?
Exactly what you are moaning about others doing!
😂😂😂😂😂
