Is it really too early to be talking about 6 pointers at this stage of the season ?  This is surely a game where we have to look at coming away with something

A defeat could see a minimum of a 5 point gap develop between ourselves and the Team directly above us.   A win would be a massive morale boast for not only the squad but the fans as well.  Just in time for the Walsall Cup tie.

Clean sheet time.  2-0 away win

How long has Malc taken to get an online application and payment scheme to join FOTL ?

Seems to be the yardstick

SC said at the fans meeting he had a month ago that he knew things needed improving.  Got to give him time.

Thinking about it.  If the playing budget was set on projected gates and we are already not anywhere near hitting those targets can the current budget be held without one of the 4 options ?

Have to agree with KES there are some strong decisions for the Chairman to make.

The team is lacking goals and after all thatís what wins games.   Will SC just sit back and allow us to continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table or bite the bullet and find some additional funds from somewhere.?

The question is where

1.  Rely on a decent cup run and hope we get through round 1 and get a plum draw in the next round.

2.  Bring in outside help ( I hate to use the word Ďinvestmentí)

3.  Find the money from his own asset base.

4.  Hope the new Commercial Director hits the ground running and comes up with some toe curling ideas to generate a lot of extra income.

No one really picked up the mantle once Hearle moved on.   Was a big gap that never got filled.  More itís all been played at.

Be interesting to see how many will rock up for Tuesday.  Maybe a new signing would whet the appetite of a few.  Maybe the much anticipated striker from Oxford ?

We certainly need a few bodies to be back fit as we canít go with just 2 subs again.

Be good to think we could pull in a 1,000 but have my doubts.

Going for a hard worked for 1-1

However unpalatable Mall is right in that step 1 probably isn't a sustainable level for KLTFC

Careful Tony, you'll have the people involved with Clubs media crawling all over you and accusing you of all sorts of things if you post things like that.

Of course, it won't matter that you're 100% correct.

I would hope the club's media department have better things to worry about than a post on this forum.  Also, the issue isn't one of being right or wrong, it is actions that matter, unfortunately very few of us are in a position to be able to take meaningful actions

Donít think thatís stopped the owner or indeed the media dept in the past.  They seem to be very sensitive about certain posts and posters on here.

I agree you would hope they all have bigger issues to deal with, but...

Another way forward could be for SC to get other directors in with him to share the load.

The aim surely is to greatly improve the commercial side of the club and give the playing budget a real chance to compete at whatever level we find ourselves.    The Chairman putting out a begging post for a match day sponsor for 4 days later speaks volumes to where that side of the business is at.

The Club has a massive FOC asset that they should also be using. This all sounds like a broken record as this is something people on here have been banging on about for years.

Even then who knows if it will be enough, but got to be worth a shot.

Think thatís a common theme with most Non League Clubs and maybe those in League Two and one.

People will always turn out in decent numbers when things are going well.  I donít think it follows that the higher up the pyramid a Club goes that bigger gates follow, if the team is non successful on the pitch.

Thing is KES we need a striker to come in and hit the ground running. Not sure I agree with someone who is around in 24 months as unless we can find a goalscorer soon then who knows where we will be in 2 years time.

It seems kinda crazy that the Chairman borrowed circa £500k to keep us at the level yet he is not prepared to shell out 800/900 quid a week until May to get a striker in to hopefully achieve the same goal.
