General Discussion / Fixture list
« on: November 18, 2015, 09:47:59 AM »
With our last League home (Slough) on Nov 7th it now looks as though we won't have another home game until Dec 12th.  How can the fixture list be that unbalanced.

Some clubs with no gate revenue for all that time would find it a struggle.

At least the Reserves should see some benefit with the football starved public.

General Discussion / Dylan Edge

Despite last nights result it was good to hear that Young Edge scored his first ( of many) Goal for the team.  Will he get a run in the team now or still be throw on from the bench.

General Discussion / and so to Saturday...

Slough at Home...#

After last nights convincing win and finding the net 5, yes 5 times... Saturdays visit from Slough ( famous for Betjemen and Brent) looks certainly winnable.  Slough have only recored one win in the League, on the road this season, and sit in 8th just 2 points above us.

Interesting we sit just 5 points off a palce off place, but 5 points better than an relegation place.  Lead up to Christmas could well shape the rest of your season.

Any news on bodies returning, or will Setch Setch go with the unbeaten Young Uns ?

Exciting times

General Discussion / Chairman Buster
« on: November 03, 2015, 08:19:34 AM »
The word in Speedway Circles is that Buster is about to become Chairman of The BSPA.  This is The British Speedway Promotors Association.  In effect Buster will be the top man in British Speedway.  A massive feather in his cap and he will get the opportunity to shape the future of the Sport in this Country.

What has this to do with Kings Lynn FC ? I hear you say.... Well with this full on job ( IF it happens, It should be comfirmed in the next week or so)  where does that leave Buster  with regard to the club ?

General Discussion / Tuesday Biggleswade at Home
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:50:48 AM »
I wonder what kind of defence setch will manage to cobble together for Tuesday.  With 3 Defenders leaving the field injured Saturday.  Maybe Setch will dive into his Book of contacts and bring in a loaner or 2.  Not ideal but deseperate times call for desperate measures.
