What can Tommy do to get things back on track? Maybe change the system but would that be like trying to put square pegs in round holes. One thing many feel should be happening is Tommy’s boy being ‘rested’. Difficult with nepotism though.
I wonder how much longer Hargreaves is going to be missing, as for me he was the key for us earlier in the season.

Has to be a home win no ifs no buts. Spanked them 4-0 away so if we get an early goal could be anything.
Line-up
The Triplets Crowther Denton Coulson (if fit, otherwise KM) Clunan Widderington Barrett Ponticelli Gold.
I wonder if that line up is attack minded enough for the Dilster?

Another big game Saturday against another ex League Club who are up there battling for a play off spot.
No Clunan and Barrett so can see Hughes and Cosgrave starting in their places. Couple of spots to fill on the bench. With Ponticelli and Cosgrave can see us defending more from the front.
With our very impressive home record these stats make interesting reading ....
Lynn played 12 at home,Fylde 14. Away Lynn played 15, Fylde 12.

Tough away trip but certainly winnable. Be interesting to see who is and who isn’t available for this one with the recent injury issues. So hopefully these are starting to clear up now.
Be good to see Hargreaves back involved in some capacity sometime soon as always feel we are a more rounded team with him.
Think we will take this one 1-3.
Just listened to the interview with Hugo. Sounds very much like Hargreaves, Stephen’s, Scott and of course Gold won’t be involved Saturday.
I guess the new lad Jones will replace Scott on the left hand side

Luton Town are in advanced talks to sign highly-rated Peterborough striker Joe Taylor, sources have told Football Insider.
Luton have been seeking striking reinforcements after losing Cameron Jerome earlier this month.

15% coming Lynn’s way should help Tommy’s budget

Stephen has put up a new podcast. Some interesting thoughts, facts etc.
He deals with the monies made from the Stevenage game £100k plus. Well done all. How he’s not happy with what he sees as how the new streaming deal will Play out. Covers the Chelsea buy out. Other bits and pieces.
The main part of the Podcast is with the Altrincham Co Chair who does a great Norman Collier impression all the way through. Maybe need to check the quality Mr Chairman.

Saturday is becoming more and more exciting.
Local Derby that sees 3 Ex Linnets returning in Fryatt, Fox and Gash. Also a win will see us return to the top of tree with both Brackley and Darlington not in League action.
Big questions over who will be fit to be included in the match squad and who will start. Will Tommy have managed to get any new bodies over the line to bolster the squad, or will he try and ‘muddle’ through with what he has at his disposal ?
Let’s hope for a decent gate.

I take it the game Saturday is still on at the moment? Have seen little to no coverage on the build up to the game.
To me it just seems the Club is waiting for Saturday morning to come and a local Ref called in in to get the game off. I do. Wonder what attempts are being made or indeed could be made to get the game on. As I understand it the pitch covers that the supporters purchased are no longer there ( waste of good money that was).
Looking at the bigger picture with games being called off this will put greater strain on the clubs finances as in cash flow and indeed squad numbers needing to be built up to cover the backlog of fixtures.
Let’s hope the Boston game on NYD survives as that’s a big money spinner.

While we are all wrapped up in FA Cup football with a TV date we have the little matter of 3 points being up for grabs at the weekend.
Whose fit and who isn’t ? Decent gate hopefully. Plus we really need a win in this one to keep us on the coat tails of other clubs who have jumped ahead of us.

How do we see this one playing out ?
Gloucester seem to be a free scoring as ourselves at home having notched 16 goals on their home patch. However they have been turned over twice there.
Will TW go for the same starting 11 or ‘release’ Gold into the game after having him sat on the bench for two games ?
With Tommy you can never tell what line up he will go with. Maybe a surprise or two in the starting 11.
I’m going for a decent point with a 2-2 result

On yesterday post match interview TW speaks about 3 players who have gone out on loan and indicates this has freed up the budget to bring one in. ( 3 for 1. Must be a stellar signing). So where do we need strengthening ?
Maybe a Gold back-up or player to challenge Scott for the left sided position.
Thoughts ?

Amongst all this FA Cup fever we have the little matter of 1st v 2nd at The Walks in a little over 48 hours.
Darlington under Alan Armstrong are making a strong push for promotion this season. So let’s hope for a big crowd and the right result for Lynn. I do wonder what formation/line up TW will go with. Seems now we have more than one string to our bow. I have a feeling he will go for the very attack minded line up that will include Barrett, Stephens and Pot-a-Jelly.
2-2 in front of 2k for me

Strong rumour has it that Carol has left us to link back up with Ian Culverhouse at Boston.
Sorry to hear this if it is confirmed

Maybe a better team that their current League position suggests.
Unbeaten at home, 1 win with 5 draws. On the road two wins and two loses. One of the wins was 4-1 at Boston.
As for Lynn maybe a tricky one to try and 2nd guess which way TW will go. The opposition must be scratching their head trying to work it out.
Will he stick with the three strikers while also fitting Barrett or revert back to the formula that has seen us achieve top spot in the League ?
I’m going for a 2-1 home win. Gate ? 888
