For those that like a few of stats.   Sports haven’t beaten any team in the top 9, apart from one……. Kings Lynn.   Also it seems they like to travel.  Points gained  on the Road,  21 set against points at home,14.

Interesting that we are looking to bring in a couple.   What fans have to also realise is it’s not a one way Street.

As a successful side sitting 2nd top a few of our players are also getting interest from Clubs higher up the pyramid.   One of which was on the scoresheet for us today.

AL spoke about Jonny Margetts on Radio Norfolk last night and said he should be back for next week

 :scarf:

Not according to this post of a couple of weeks ago.   Or did he not really say that ?

Scored on his Huddersfield debut today in a 2-2 draw with Blackpool.  A certain Sonny Carey came off the bench in the game.

Good result that, even if expected.  Good crowd as well.  Looks like the kids for a quid offer has paid off, in terms of numbers.

Such a tight League with just 3 points separating the top 6.   Things may change a little after Tuesday when a few of the top 6 teams play one of their matches in hand.

All set up nicely for us with a very much winnable fixture at Sports next Saturday.  We owe them one.

Hopefully the likes of Margetts and Gold will be available to make the squad.

Forgot. Fancy a decent home win for this one.  Marine have played 7 games against teams sitting in the top 6.  Just a single point gained.

OMG haven’t there just !! Where to begin.  From day one SC has told us all about his lastest money making ideas to both raise the profile of the Club and to make it self sufficient.  The only one that appears to have worked is getting Jo onboard.  I think the best suggestion was the summer concert gigs that were going to held at the ground with the suggested idea of AC/DC playing a warm up gig on their way to a World tour.

Anyone else can think back to anything better ?    :mystic:

Now we have the safety net of Jo ( Bal) we don’t have to worry so much about cash flow issues. Do we ?

Cleeve takes a lot of stick for all that is wrong at the Club.  Now with Bal onboard as the front of house for Jo then maybe people should be asking him for some of the answers.

Only 4 games left on in the NLN.  All other games already called off in the North League.  For now.   Makes sense to get an early call to stop opposition team s and fans from travelling.

I remember years back when Clubs trying to get an FA cup tie on they would place oil drums all over the pitch fill them with rubbish and set them a light.   :laughcry:  Usually a lower League  Club playing one of the big boys.

The side overshadowed by the main stand must be a concern

If we were in the same position as last season Adam Lakeland wouldn’t be here that’s for sure.  Last season’s disaster was down to a poor appointment by SC and poor recruitment from the man he appointed
