General Discussion / Re: FANS FORUM ANYONE?
« on: March 03, 2022, 01:40:20 PM »
I remember that.  Was the same on the Blogs where it was all set up before hand.  Hardly Oscar winning performances from either.

Itís good now that Hearle isnít there that SC feels he doesnít need to do that kind of arrangement anymore

Who was The MC for the last one ?  Was it an open forum or were the questions agreed in advance and therefore Ďloadedí ?

Chairman must be due another Podcast surely ?  Though he is generally all over the place with the timing on those.

Administration can happen for a multitude of reasons.  Doesnít have to be the exclusive right of success of spending on the playing side. Take Bury FC for example.

As Tony has said the cloak and dagger running of the club off the field saw the fans only being able to take a fix on things on the field.   So if you have someone running the club and pumping the money then your average fan doesnít give a rats ass where the money is coming from. The success is all coming on the field ( thanks to IC) then why not enjoy the ride ?

From a personal point of view the Football I saw played by ICís teams at step 3 and then step 2 was the best Iíve seen at Lynn ( and away).   Off the Field was a mess.  Thatís a given.

Two great seasons football wise.  You disagree with that side of things Chilly ?

Good post Realist.   A two level drop would take us back to the level we were at when SC bought the Club.

Was it an enjoyable ride.  Has to be a big yes

Think a 2-0 defeat at Mega Bucks Wrexham is no disgrace.   Many ( me included) feared the worst after Saturdayís poor result.

We did actually draw the 2nd half.  So a moral victory there.

Cheapest option would be to keep Tommy West.  Think all it will do is kick the can down the road though.

Tommy sure inherited some bang average players, for Step 1.   Trouble is he has kept them and added some more bang average players from lower levels.

Ok itís all over now for the Club ( in truth has been for weeks).  So despite going back down to step 2, letís hope Tommy can get some pride back into the team and we at least put up a fight on Tuesday night.

Will he throw some of those who have not been in the squad back in or go with the same players who didnít perform on Saturday? Be interesting to see if his Boy starts.

utter nonsense long buckby away dunkley made jack look Sunday league they won league we only came up on ground grading Setch signed the spine their team parted with jack and went on to win the league you stick to playing xbox fifa

Have to disagree on that one Loopy.   Jack was let go by Setch.   Chappers ( Lowestoft Manager) couldnít believe his luck in getting Jack.  He certainly delivered with Lowestoft winning the step 3 League.

The problem is can SC trust himself to get the next appointment as Manager right?  The track record doesnít look great so far.  Plus also can the club actually afford to pay up the Managerís contract plus players that need showing the door and coaching staff.   Sounds a right mess to clear up.  Yet again.

As for that list Loopy.  Defty 100%.  The rest were average step 3 players.  One of which ended up not bothering to turn up for games.  Canít put Jack in with those others.  They were just players passing through.

"I'm lost for words really and that's not really like me. I can take losing games, but I was embarrassed towards the end of that game.

"What we came up against today were big, strong men who are playing at the level they are playing at for a reason.

"The moment we as a football club realise what we are, who we are and what we need to do then we might have a chance.

"That's twice now where we've had great performances in midweek and then followed it up with a no-show at home and I can't take that.
