Looks like Griss is being very proactive on the FOTL.  Just shows what can be done if the effort is put in.

Well done to Malc, beginning to look the best signing of the season.

I would have thought with just the one Keeper in the first team squad it’s a no brainer who would be the first name on the team sheet.

Well done Malc and of course your committee.   Good to see something proactive happening.

Heacham will walk the AC Premier League this season.  Can even see them making a good fist of getting out of the TN Div North the following season.   Big test will come when they come up against the serious payers in the TN Prem.  Will be a great achievement for a village Club.

Is that the extent of their ambition Gordon ?

Maybe people need to read between the lines on SC’s Twitter post.

Huge thanks to our travelling support who certainly made themselves heard today - understand some of the frustrations and as fans who spend a lot of money and time following the team it is your right. We are all on the same side and I personally will do what I can to fix things

As with all Managers you get some signings right and some wrong.  Let’s remember IC/Backie brought in Marriott, Gash, Carey, Norman, Hendo, Blake Tracy.  All success’s.

To bring in another body to help IC  costs money which maybe could be better spent on the playing squad.

As The Owner maybe SC should have a cards on the table meeting with both IC and Backie to determine a way forward to get the club back on track.  This would have include clearing out players where it’s not working and getting players in who could improve the squad.  Leave all the BS outside the room and work together for the greater good.

I’ve just spoken to Piers and that’s what he suggests  :laughcry:

Mallard make your mind up which side you are on and stop playing at being Piers Morgan and the devil's advocate rolled into one .

Sides ?  Who gets first pick ? Things have to be balanced.   SC has done a lot of good for the Club but for balance he has made some right cock ups as well.   IC, fantastic to take a club like us to the top League in Non League football.  This season not so great and I can see why the fans are worried.

Like you and of course me, we ain’t perfect.  We get some things right and also we get things wrong as well.

Let’s praise people when they deserve it but also express our disappointment when things go wrong

Fair enough ?

So are you saying Dilly we can’t afford to play at this level ?  If so then why did we borrow a whopping £500k in an attempt to do that very same thing.  Whose door would lay the blame for that one ?

The worry is if Cleeve got rid oglf IC, or indeed if he walked could the Chairman be trusted not to make matters worse with his replacement.    Who will forget Simon Clark’s time at the Club.  Ended up with the Chairman going cap in hand to get IC back.

To me it’s simple.   The Chairman either finds the money to bring in a couple of decent Step one strikers or we slip back to step 2 and all that comes with that.  Including that massive debt he has saddled the Club with.

SC is the man ( on his own) in the hot seat.  Big decisions to be made.  Aldershot win or draw at Barnet tonight and we are in the relegation zone.

IC hasn’t given an interview lately.  Will that change after today.  Will the Chairman stick with the Manager ?  Will the Manager stick by the players he has brought in and system he is playing ?

Walsall at home Saturday.   It’s a big week ahead in more ways than one.

Decent results breed  positivity.   A win Saturday and things will seem soooooo much better.   Over to IC

I do wonder if there is room in Lynn for another separate Club to play at Step 6/5 or even 4 ?

Boston has Utd and Town and many other towns run with two senior Clubs

West pardon me for being a little Confused.Com

You put up a thought provoking thread where you attack some of the things SC has done under his stewardship.   Some people agreed, some of us disagreed with your view. Then you remove it as you suggest we are all pulling in the same direction.

You say it was a ‘shame’ to take down the thread.  If that’s the case ( I agree it was a shame) why on Earth would you take it down ?
