Agree WW, loads of potential.   Good signing.  Think we will see see even more from him next season.  Subject to him still being with us of course.

Rumours make the world go around.  850,000 at any one time.  Another one here and there isn’t going to do too much damage.

In Footballl….. owners, players and Managers come and go. The supporters  tend to be there for a lifetime

Wouldn’t that be some kind of poetic justice  :laughcry:  Two National League Relegations on your CV won’t look impressive for a man of TW’s self worth.

To think Aldershot not only paid out to get Tommy they paid a transfer fee to get his boy as well.

Just had a look at Shots forum and it seems Widdrington has a big aim to win the Hants Senior Cup this season.

First half was decent, albeit against 10 men and against a team with limited ambition.   2nd we seem to stop playing almost like we had done enough and it was game over.   Oxford scoring then made for a tense final half an hour.

Still 3 points is three points.  As many say it’s all about result at this time of the season.  So hopefully AL won’t be banging on with hard luck stories in the run in.  You get nothing for playing well and getting sod all.

Clever piece of marketing by Bal.   After Saturday’s defeat and with two home games in 3 days.  Cold Tuesday with Oxford in town how many people would the game of pulled in ?

So 400 @ £20.   Against 2500 @ £5.

You do the  math.

I hope the Chip van has stocked up on the old King Edward’s  :thanks:

Think you are missing the point Uptoon.  Surely it’s a 9 ( or 10) we need not yet another wide player.  Think we are covered in that area.  Saturday we had no striker on the bench.  So with chasing the game we had little to no option to change things.

Most Managers always protect their own backs.  So a culture of blaming everything except themselves tends to be the order of the day.  They can’t blame the team because they bring the players to the Club and play them.

The idea we missed out on Sam Osbourne seems strange one.  Have we not got enough wide players in the squad?  With no strikers on the bench again yesterday surely that has to be the priority.

Go back to Culverhouse he look for locally for his signings.  Didn’t do him any harm, at this level.

You aren’t the first say that today.  Trouble is they don’t give you points for that.  You can’t win games if you aren’t scoring goals.

With no strikers on the bench again today ( are Gold and Williams both injured?) is our lack of activity in the transfer market now costing us ?  38 goals scored from 32 League games tells its own story. Top of the table Chester have scored 50% more.

All credit to you Malc.   Some maybe have to look closer at their pennies. So for them maybe it’s not so great to see prices slashed after they have bought a season ticket ?

Moan moan moan.  Just because someone has a different view to you Upton it doesn’t make their opinion any less valued.

You bought a season ticket this season.  All credit to you for that.  Think you said it was the  first time for a while you had done this.  How come you have not coughed up for one before being, such a loyal supporter  ?

Take your time. No rush.

Good offer from the Club.  Seems like it’s come form SC.  Have to wonder what he means he is relying on fans taking advantage of the deal to make the sums add up.   Gate would have to be around 4,000 to pull in the same amount of revenue.

Must be some kind of record where the  cost of the chips is more than 1.5 people’s  admission charge.
