Just watched the highlights.  Wow wow wow.  That is some result on the Road.  Spenny must have wondered what had hit them.   Listening to JR post match you can't fail but be impressed by the guy and what he says.

Changes to the line up again must keep players on their toes with not many players feeling safe in a starting place.

Be interesting to see how Darlo set up on Saturday and what Line up JR goes with to break them down.

3rd v 5th in the early season table.  Fancy both teams to keep their respective unbeaten record.  So I'm going for a 'Desmond'.    Which would be a good result for a Tuesday night in the North East.

Looking at the highlights, what on earth has happened to their pitch?  Has it been sabotaged ?
Vera.  Padel is the new 'in' game that seems to be taking the Country by storm.  Very much like an easy form of tennis.  Much smaller playing area.  Quite a quick end to end game, hence my comment.  Not something you have to over think. The first time I saw it was many years ago at Lords Cricket Ground. I guess the Court is still there.   People always describe end to end Football as like a game of basketball.  I was just putting an up to date spin ( top or side) on it.

New balls please

Just had a listen to Paul Cardis ( ?), Hereford Manager.  He was very honest in his post match appraisal and basically said his team never laid a glove on us.  Created nothing in our box and couldn't deal with us in their box.  Sounds like 2-0 flattered them.

Was it like a game of basketball ? Or should that read Padel as that's the new in game everyone seems to be playing. End to end stuff.

Looks interesting as we went without Gold up top and surprised to see Williams dropped to the bench.  A win on the Road says it all. Rowe got his selections spot on this week.

Spennymoor Tuesday night, who have started the season well.  A tough place to go midweek.

I would hope that can only improve once the deal is through and the Trust is actively involved.  I'm sure they will bring something to the party.

Interesting comment that Paul has said about not joining the Trust.  I would have thought many would be keen to part of an organisation that WILL ( subject to approval) will have a stake in the Club they support.

Paul be interested to the reason why and others won't be signing up.  Fully understand if you don't want to disclose the reasons in a public forum, but have to say in both surprised and intrigued as to why.

I thought it was all about Nipster's Dilly 😂.

Or even more simply, just scoring more goals than the opposition. As in keeping them out at one end and taking your chances at the other end. 🤷‍♂️

Quinn I'm sure you are very balanced....Just maybe it's your view on Football..... kidding.🤭😂  We all see things through different eyes.  Be boring if we all thought the same.

100% the fayre on offer on Saturday was far more enjoyable than the turgid stuff served up a lot of last season.  Just think it has to be kept in context.  We are a new team put together very quickly.  So feel the expectation level needs to be kept in check.

Guess it was frustrating to dominate such large parts of the game to end up with just a point to show for it. Two games on the road to follow so that should prove interesting.
