I would hope that can only improve once the deal is through and the Trust is actively involved.  I'm sure they will bring something to the party.

Interesting comment that Paul has said about not joining the Trust.  I would have thought many would be keen to part of an organisation that WILL ( subject to approval) will have a stake in the Club they support.

Paul be interested to the reason why and others won't be signing up.  Fully understand if you don't want to disclose the reasons in a public forum, but have to say in both surprised and intrigued as to why.

I thought it was all about Nipster's Dilly 😂.

Or even more simply, just scoring more goals than the opposition. As in keeping them out at one end and taking your chances at the other end. 🤷‍♂️

Quinn I'm sure you are very balanced....Just maybe it's your view on Football..... kidding.🤭😂  We all see things through different eyes.  Be boring if we all thought the same.

100% the fayre on offer on Saturday was far more enjoyable than the turgid stuff served up a lot of last season.  Just think it has to be kept in context.  We are a new team put together very quickly.  So feel the expectation level needs to be kept in check.

Guess it was frustrating to dominate such large parts of the game to end up with just a point to show for it. Two games on the road to follow so that should prove interesting.

I agree the Trust members voted in favour.  Democracy as always should win the day.  Let's hope for a long and fruitful relationship.  Once Jo finally takes over the Club from SC.

With the feel good factor all through the Club can't see them having any worries over filling a coach

10 games for sure will give a massive insight into where we stand in the swing of things. The team will Gel more as the season moves on.

Was far more watchable yesterday than the stuff Lakeland served up last season.   Think we have pace to burn which may help us more on the Road as at home we may find that teams sit deep not allowing any space in behind to run into.  No one can accuse JR of being one dimensional as we had two ways of forcing the issue yesterday.  The lad who came on, Ford Brown looks a player.  Very direct, pace and shows no fear.

One little thing for the Club to tighten up is no one checking  stand  tickets.  Never saw anyone before the game and as the 2nd half started a good few people were taking seats near my group who weren't there in the first half. Again no one there checking peoples tickets.

What did others think to having balls all around the pitch, did it speed things up ?

Don't see it as negative more balanced.  Marriott must have been signed for a reason and for sure he's not the same player he was that left us a few years back.  Just felt we just needed a fox in the box for maybe the last 10-15 mins to take one of those chances we were creating.

If it's in the referee's report then that's going to put a black mark on what was an exciting new dawn.

Sorry Paul but my first time and a lot of new players to get your head around.  Was Morgan the lad who played in the no 6 role ? Or have I got the name wrong ?

What has happened to the pitch, looked decent in terms of smooth but a lot of brown patches and players were having to really push the ball along ?

I agree with re the atmosphere. Certainly a good vibe.  As for how this season plays out. Not sure if we are more likely to be challenging next season than this.  Expectation level  seems really high for a young team that's been put together PDQ and may need time to gel.

All about opinions this game.

I'm going to burst a few people's bubble.  Thought we ran the show for the opening 25 mins and should have been 2/3 ahead.  The reason we weren't ? Poor finishing.  That continued throughout the game.  Chance after chance went begging.  I bet Adam Marriot sitting in the bench must have been licking his lips.   I guess Rowe was feeling the same with the amount of times he had his head in his hands.

Let's be fair Telford won't be troubling those at the top end of the table. So let's get today's performance in prospective.  So let's see how we do next time out at The Walks when Darlo come visiting. The keeper playing up between the 18 yard box and the half way line makes it a bit squeaky bum time.  We nearly got caught by it a couple of times.

Plus side was the amount of pace we have in this team.  In some ways playing away from home may be helpful where teams have to come at us and with the pace we have up top we might scare a few teams. For me Mom was the lad Morgan signed from Chester.  Will makes us tick in the no6 role.  Though I'm not sure Clunan and him click that well together.

Still it's early days and think we will start to gel more once they get playing together as the season progresses.

Disappointing to see the game held up after the linesman called the ref over due to comments made from  opposite the main stand..  security guards called over who basically didn't seem like they could deal with the situation.   Another few grand for the FA I would suggest.  Jo and Bal can't have been impressed with that on their first day in charge.

The pitch look devoid  of grass and had no zip in it.  The ball just didn't seem to travel that well on it.  Has there been problems ?

Stephen Cleeve had a seat in the Directors box.  Seems he can't walk away.  Perhaps once the deal is finally done he will feel his time is finally over.  Which it seems is subject to DCMS approval.  Hopefully this is just a rubber stamp job.  If not, well I guess that doesn't bare thinking about.
