Stellar signing that.   So that's 25 goals sorted for next season.   Steveo, hopefully will be back onboard, with his 15 goals.   The season starts here.   Operation Top 5 is up and running.

Amazingly  Forest Green reached the play-offs then sacked their Manager.  Now that is some reward for getting the Club to within a breath of the promised land.  The New Manager, Mark Cooper will be in the dug out for the Wembley Final.   I really hope after all that the Club gets what they deserve.

The main stand has always caused a problem for the pitch over that side, with it being always in shadow.   I am sure we are not alone in this and other clubs have to overcome the same issue.  Maybe a spot of networking would help.   Get on the T'internet Tazzy and see what you can find, make a few phone calls. For every problem there is a solution.  :laughcry:

On a serious note I really think all at the Club should be congratulated.  The season has only just ended and here we are with so much going on.  No sitting back and taking it easy for a couple of weeks.  Setch, in particular has been straight in.  Signing up a good few players  in readiness to push on next season.  Buster seemingly taking an interest in getting the pitch sorted for Setch and his team.  I would assume big efforts are being made behind the scenes with regard to Sponsorship and advertising.

Tazzy.... Would you agree... Exciting Times ahead ?

I watched the U18's last night and they lost 1-0 to an excellent and experienced Biggleswade 'Waders' team. The good news it was the last game on the old pitch as it is being dug up today/tomorrow

In fairness Rod Blackpool, Under Holloway had their day in the sun. ( always bloody cold when Ive been there).  Didn't the Owner ( Oyston) have a  bit to do with their demise ?  :farmer:

So was the Pitch all dug up at that weekend Tazzy ?  Who is actually carrying out the work ? From your post it seems like a specialist  company are only advising, not actually doing the work.

Judging on this last seasons performances if players are paid on what they offer to the Club then The Likes of Ryan should be on more than Sam for this coming season.  Sam ( for whatever reason) didn't have the greatest of seasons for us, while Ryan ended up player of the year.  He is certainly of more value ( as a player) to the Club than Sam.

Apparently its an injury that he has to live with if he wants to continue to play Football. The same injury as Bunting has to deal with.

Boston should have a greater income source for next season as they will no longer have  a large rent bill to pay for York Street.  Also Read Dennis Greene has committed himself for next season.

Surely as it is a council owned facility  that club pays rent for then it should be the council who should foot the bill.  I take it they are using a specialist company to carry out the work.

Of Course Tazzy I understand that.  I just don't think Location should be a reason for paying local lads peanuts compared to players who are shipped in.  The local lads always tend to stay loyal and as such should be on a decent deal.

Rod think the hope is that he will sign and they will manage the injury he is left with through the season and maybe get 25-30 games out him

Yeah players coming out of the pro always seem to think they can ask for more than they are worth. Just never seems right to me that when a lad steps up from the Reserves he is just thrown a few quid when they player sat next to him in the dressing room is on a couple hundred

Ain't that the truth Tazzy. The likes of Backie and yourself deserve tremendous credit for the way you guys have turned it around and maybe people sit up and think.

Good news also that the playing surface is being replaced starting this weekend I think someone said
