Fen I would suggest AL has far more to worry about than a few fans booing at the end of the game.  We are on a very poor run of form.  Just depends if are at the start, the middle or the end of the run.  Trouble is he has little to no options in the squad to change things.

Winning is one thing and we all like a win.  Most fans know defeats come along but it's the manner of  how not winning comes about.  If you see your team putting it all in and yet coming up short in terms of the result no one could complain and should be applauded off the pitch. 

Is there uncertainty at the Club in terms of who is pulling the strings and this is filtering down to the Manager and indeed the players. ? Could that be another reason AL is struggling to get players in and who is having to sign off on any players who the Manager wants to bring in.?

There always seems to mention of Jimmy Dean as a local Manager that is well thought of at Kings Lynn.  I guess February is going to a huge month in terms of what this season will look like.

Players getting dogs abuse is nothing to worry about but they get a boo and the Manager is up in arms about it. 

To me AL in his recent post match interviews is a very frustratied man.  He can see what the problems are but is having great difficulty coming up with any of the answers.   As he has told us this is HIS team so has to stand by the players he has brought in.  He has also said he is only travelling 4 hours each day to compete at the top of the Lesgue.  The last few games seems we are struggling to compete with teams at the bottom half of the League.

Lakeland said for the opening 20 minutes they dominated and we couldn't get a foothold in the game.   Is that a lack of motivation in the dressing room before they go out ?

Something isn't right.

So let me get this right.  It's ok for AL to publicly criticise some of the people who help to pay his wages.  Yet the people who he has been less than happy with over the last three games should escape any form of criticism for the performances on the pitch ?

Lakeland told us a few games into the season that this team would get better as the season progressed.  Well after the last few games I would take issue with that comment.  If anything it is quite the reverse. 

The excuses are coming thick and fast.  Players not wanting to to come because of Kings Lynn location.  Memo to AL it's in the same place as it's always been and Culverhouse had no problems getting players to come and play here in this League a few short seasons ago.  Maybe Lakeland should start looking a bit closer to home.  Strangely the North West is not the captive market for players who can play at this level.

2 point return from what was an achievable 9 points from the last 3 games.  Just the one goal from open play might tell its own story.

Still not likely to fill the stand anytime soon. 

Another very winnable game coming up on Saturday.  We turned them over at their place earlier in the season.  They are visiting the Walks on the back of a 3-0 pasting at home to Chester. No excuses for this one.  3 points is a must.

Just looked at booking tickets in the stand online.  It seems half the rows in area 'D' are now not available.  3 rows at the back and 3 at the front.  Anyone know why?  Or has the rot set in even further ?

0-0 two points dropped or 1 point gained.  I wonder which way AL will see it ?

Sorry John not buying into that.  Away to one of the bottom 4 Clubs has to be targeted as an expected 3 points.  Radcliffe on Saturday the same.  Now is the time to deliver as there will be much harder games coming after this where we can't realistically expect to gain wins.

I see AL is on record as saying there will be at least two changes tonight.  Does this mean he was happy with 8 of the outfield players on Saturday ?  More likely his hands are tied as the squad is rather thin at the moment.  He also said he was bringing another body in. A striker hopefully.

This issue of strikers has been ongoing problem.  Margetts injured and missed so many games.  Gold a big un but not renowned for his work rate and at times couldn't hit a cows ass with the side of a banjo.  Williams, one question.  Why did AL sign him?   

I know decent goal scores are worth their weight in pig muck and don't come cheap.  Yet Aldershot got  their current leading goal scorer from us for nothing.  Josh Barrett has scored 10 goals from 22 for the Shots.  Imagine what 10 goals at NL would equate to in our League.  AL got rid of him as  he couldn't get a tune out of him.  Does that say more about AL or Barrett ?

Ok Barrett won't win any prizes for his work rate but the lad gets you goals.  Something we have struggled with up top this season.  I remember a certain Gary Lineker not being the greatest in terms of work rate but he knew where the back of the net was.   Sometimes a player might not fit your MO but if he gets you the end result.  Does that really matter.

The Margetts scenario seems to rumble  on and on.  The lad Williams was brought in as a striker back up. Yet even with Margetts and Gold injured he still doesn't get a start. Begs the question what is his role in the squad ?


For me it feels like we have a bit of a soft underbelly, have to wonder how fired up Lakeland gets his team. Win ugly is no crime, especially at this time in the season.

January was a real chance to make a mark as we had a lot of the bottom half teams to play.  Rushall on Tuesday needs a massive response after today. AL needs to step up and earn his corn.

Sports missed a pen as well.   Not a good day at the office. 

Nearly every club in the Country wants a striker who can hit the ground running.  If we have ambitious to gain promotion it might be worth spending a big extra to get one in.  If one can be found.
