Just throwing it out there.   How do Sports do it ?   They are punching as a Club.  Anyone have a Scobby what their cunning plan is ?  Whatever it is, can we have some please !

Interesting results last night.  Comfy wins it seems for Darlo and Rushall.  Sports did us a favour by winning at Banbury.  Their 3rd goal coming from Ex Linnet Rory McAuley.

Dill don’t let little things like facts get in the way of your argument. Bottom of the League to 5th bottom= progress.

Within in weeks of closing the doors to having a new investor onboard, signing new players = progress.

We might only be a couple of slippery Nipsters away from really progressing further.

The lovely story ( true or otherwise) of Stan not coming out with the other players at 2.55 as he wanted to watch the 2.55 horse race.  Imagine that today.😂

Weary, surprised if Mick Mills ever laughed.  He was a dry old stick.

Think those 3 would have been a bit long in tooth to have been on the same pitch as Gazza, Rod😂

How about Frank Worthington up top ?

Cos we are making progress Dill.  When AL joined we were bottom of the heap, now we are outside of he drop Zone.  Plus we have the new money man in.  So has to be progress surely?

Today AL said we are hard to beat and have the best back 3 in the League.   If you don’t concede, you don’t lose.   Only 2 goals conceded in the last 4 games.

Maverick.  In the same mould as the likes of Tony Curie, Rodney Marsh.    He is the sort of player Dilly would play every week in every position.

I see Setch’s Corby pulled in over 600 fans today at home.   Not sure what level that is.  4 maybe ?

Disappointing to drop two points after Tuesday’s excellent result. On the plus side we move out of the bottom 4 ( thanks Sport) and the gates seem to be on the up at 800.  Can’t complain about the fans not turning up.

Does anyone know if he has actually made an investment?

SC’s EDP column should answer your question Cigar.   Seems our owner keeps repeating his need of the loan he took out to be written off and for money to be given for him to fund his hobby.

Not just kept the lights but made a significant investment in new players to strengthen the squad.

Is it really that unusual at this stage of the season to hear of Clubs in trouble.  Always seems to strike post Christmas.  Didn’t our own SC say we were gone by the end Jan if no new money was found ?

While you have people who always seem to feel they know how to make a Non League Football, successful, they always seem to reach the end of the road having had their fingers burnt.  It’s amazing really as it tends to be businessmen who have made decent money in their field yet all business logic seems to go out of the window once they walk into a Football Club.   Strange, as these business people didn’t get where they are by allowing their company’s to haemorrhage money.

Way beyond me.
