Have to think the strengthening of the squad is directly linked to ‘Joe’ having backed the Club.  Last nights result is all down to the new money beginning to bare fruit.

Dilly, don’t have a listen to the Brackley Managers comments from last night.   It would upset you.   According to him.  Lynn did a job on his team, set up tough to beat and feeding off scraps.

Different ways to win a game.

Thanks for the link Tony.   Seems they are now going for quality then not quantity.   11 games in NLN tonight.  4 games being screened.  I guess they have to try these things to see if there is a market for it.

At least they are continuing with a with something and not binned the whole idea off, yet.

If you put a product out there which is of a quality matching a 1970’s home movie then how do they expect that to attract a paying audience.  Most outside of the Clubs playing wouldn’t watch it free.

Not sure it’s being withdrawn Tony, more I understand that it’s to be screened  on a selective game basis.

Take Roy Keane at Utd.  His ‘style’ and ‘encouragement’ allowed other more technically gifted players the opportunity to go and play... Giggs, Scholes, Beckham, Ronaldo, Rooney etc

Rushall v Gloucester  and Chorley v Southport will be other results to look out for today.  Don’t want to see the gap to safety increasing

Good point B&G.  Why can’t he get game time with our U23’s. under Alex Cross ?   It’s great looking to the future ( isn’t that the remit of the Academy?), but surely the future very much depends on the present and staying at Step 2

So Maradona and Messi both won it by themselves Dilly ?   Both World class no question.  However they had other players keeping the opposition out at the other end.

With Europe leading the way on a World level maybe we would be better looking at Countries like Portugal where the infrastructure drops off a Cliff outside the top two leagues.  They have produced the odd player who could play a bit Dill

Also of the last 5 World Cups.  South America have won just one.  You have to square the Circle Dilly.

I don’t remember many Nipsters in the Argentina World Cup side in 66, Dilly.  Or doesn’t that fit the Narrative ?

Tommy hasn’t had a lot of luck with his signings from Kings Lynn.

Zain Walker not kicked a ball and now in his 2nd loan spell away.
Arron Jones  now on the sidelines after suffering his 2nd long term injury.
Ollie Scott.  Carried on his injury prone ways that he suffered with us. Out again
Theo W.  Oh dear.  Fans at Shots sussed out the situation there PDQ.  Daddy keeps giving him game time when the Shots fans can see he is nowhere near step 1 level.
Josh B... 2 stone overweight ( according to shots fans). Makes his full time debut and blows up after 20 mins.

5-0 home thrashing last night for Shots.  3-0 down at the break and Widd Jun gets booked.

Would imagine Chorley will feature quite quickly now they have new owners.

Boyzone doing several comeback concerts will help fund the Club I’m sure.   Love me for a season ?  :thanks:
